Revising my review to 5 stars - Love this bag.
Revision 4/23/20: I’m over the zipper issue (see below). The bag continues to be great. Prior to C-19 I traveled for business extensively and this came everywhere. It just barely fits an iPad 10.5” in the padded pocket, so beware if you have anything larger. I forgot I also added two large clips to serve as a handle to carry this horizontally when wearing a suit and not needing the two straps. I’m somewhat surprised they do not have a built in handle on the side, that would be my only other recommended change, but the webbing allows you to get creative.——Original Review:This is a great bag. It is versatile, and depending on what you are looking to use it for can be the perfect bag with a few minor gripes. The only ding for the 5th star is the zippers. There are no metal pulls, just a string tied poorly on. I've had 3 fall off/disappear in less then a month. Paying for a bag like this you expect proper zipper pulls. Sounds like a minor issue until your traveling with zippers that are difficult to use.The other issues are personal preference: I trialed the one strap bag of the same design (Plan-B), as well as the Freelance Photo bag to see which size worked best for me. The Freelance size did not work at all, and the Plan-C is nearly perfect. If I could change the dimensions I would add 1" to the width. That all said, I'd still highly recommend this Hazard 4 daypack.

Even better than the Plan B!!!
I already have a Plan B pack from Hazard 4, which I love; however, once I saw that the Plan C had come out, I wanted it, too......(cuz......reasons...). I am so glad I bought this pack. It came in the mail last week, and I have already broken it in with a moderate hike. The pack itself is deceptively large, with plenty of space for all of my hiking gear. I chose not to fill a hydration bladder on this hike, as it would only be a couple of miles, and opted instead to store water bottle in the side pockets. Even though I am a large guy (6'1, 300lbs), the pack straps and chest strap fit comfortably, and the hike went off without a hitch. I very much like the hardened cap on the front top pocket, and used it to store my keys, wallet, flashlight, and EDC gear. I attached my knife to the molle cutout, and it stayed secured for the whole hike with no problem. The pack itself just feels solid and well built, from the straps to the padded back to the zippers. Although I have only used it once, I have a feeling that this pack can (and will) take a lot of abuse and keep on truckin'. I can't think of any cons right now, nor do I think I will come up with any (much like the Plan B....well done, Hazard 4). I highly recommend this pack for anyone who is looking for quality gear at a great price.

Perfect size for day hikes!
Well-made, great size for 1-4 hour hikes. I added two water bottle holders to make it a bit more functional.

Update - Bought another P!an C with better clarity in intended use. Good bag if you know what you want to use it for.
Update - I bought another H4 Plan C once I was able to more clearly understand the intention of the bag in alignment with my personal use. The Plan C is an excellent bag but it has certain specialty uses. I added a couple of H4 Broadside pouches to augment general organization. The bag is holding up well so far with only some trimming of loose threads required - no breakage or overt wear noted. The Plan C allows for heavier loads to managed over the sling style of the Plan B bag. Bottom line - This is a great bag for specified uses and purposes where tight quarters are present or you need a bag that fits behind you in its entirety. Not for very large loads or multi-day endeavors.Previous Post - I wanted to like this bag. I really did. Hazard 4 makes good quality gear and this bag seemed like a great idea. But...Not enough internal organization was engineered into this design. The long narrow shape of the bag gives it high utility for some uses but the lack of organization in the main storage area and the admin area were deal breakers for me. Also, the user should have the option of getting a model with or without the hard shells.Sadly, I ended up returning the bag and getting a 5.11 Rush 12.This could be a great bag with more built in organization. Fix the noted shortfalls and I will definitely buy one. Thank you.

Less storage capacity and versatility than I expected/wanted
High quality bag, but just not as versatile as I was looking for.

casi perfecta
