Exactly what you expect
It's a metal plate with holes. It's not complicated. But if you have a hard time remembering how much spaghetti you need to put in the pot for the number of people in your family, this is very helpful. If you never entertain, and suddenly find yourself with 4 people at your table, this is for you.More seriously, this is a pretty useful, inexpensive little tool for measuring out your spaghetti. I tend to make much more pasta than I should, and then I overeat because I tend to eat what's in front of me. This cuts down on the amount of food I cook and waste. It doesn't cost much and doesn't take up much space. Well worth the cost.

Good price compared to others.
No complaints. Made of metal and very sturdy. Now I know what one serving is. Before it was hit and miss all the time. After a few uses, you can adjust to a little more or less than the measurements.
