Review: Monkey Bar Gloves - Although the idea of these gloves is fantastic and who doesn't want to prevent their child from coming home with painful popped blistered cos they love the monkey bars so much. These gloves look funky. But unfortunately my daughter found that these didn't work for her and she couldn't grip as much as she can without them and slipped off more often that she usually would do. She gave it multiple goes but found the same result. We both wanted them to work. I am curious if a size down would be better but I don't want to spend this money again incase it doesn't make any difference.

She loves doing the monkey bars at school, but her hands were getting really torn up. She loves these and keeps them in her backpack. Wish they were a little less expensive, but they have worked out well so I'm okay with it.

Although the idea of these gloves is fantastic and who doesn't want to prevent their child from coming home with painful popped blistered cos they love the monkey bars so much. These gloves look funky. But unfortunately my daughter found that these didn't work for her and she couldn't grip as much as she can without them and slipped off more often that she usually would do. Very happy with this product. They fit my 7 year old daughter perfectly and she uses them everyday. She loves doing the monkey bars at school, but her hands were getting really torn up. These are not the same as bicycle gloves. If you have a strong hyperactive kid, buy them! Very tough! she always remembers to take them out to the playground at recess.
