After Nearly Four Years of Regular Use, I can Give Only My Highest Praise to This Juicer
I originally purchased a refurbished Breville RM-BJE200XL Compact Juice Fountain on April 12, 2012, and after nearly four years of regular use, it's doing just wonderfully!I enjoy fresh fruit and vegetables, and am always on the lookout for ways to add more to my diet. As of late I’ve been going back through some of my many purchases over the years and reviewing the ones that stood out in order to hopefully help other shoppers make informed purchases. In particular, this juicer stood out to me because it was one of those purchases where I originally remember questioning myself if I would really get much use out of it, and if so, if I'd made a good decision going with a refurbished Breville. In the end, it was worth every penny, and the one I received looked and functioned just like new. Over the years, it still performs wonderfully, but the plastic has started to discolor a bit with time. I'm still using the original stainless steel micro-mesh strainer that came with it and original blades.I've used this juicer well over a hundred times over the years, and like any juicer: it's not quiet. While you are supposed to be able to run whole fruit (with small seeds) right through it (the feed tube is 3 inches wide), I still prefer to cut out the cores of apples and the like before running them through. This is a powerful little machine, and there is a fair amount of air that comes out from the central cylinder, so I've found it's usually easiest to pre-load the juicer with greens and then layer heavier fruit and veggies on top so that the greens don't dance out the top once it's turned on. :)The fruit/veggie pulp is collected around the central strainer, and once you're done juicing, you simply take it apart piece-by piece and rinse it off. You don't even need to use soap. It comes apart very easily and is just as easy to put back together. I can go from prep to cleaning on this juicer in less than ten minutes, and it's honestly quite easy to clean as long as you do so right after you're done juicing, so nothing has the chance to start sticking to the unit. While the parts are supposed to be dishwasher-safe, I've always washed them by hand. The custom black brush that is included serves two purposes:1.) The handle is perfectly sized to allow you to use it to scrape and scoop out the fruit/veggie pulp into your trash can2.) The bristled end is nicely sized to allow you to clean out the mesh strainer (remember to brush both sides).I've generally either made juice for one or two, and the measured cup is the perfect size to compliment anything up to and including two 16 ounce juices. Hitting around 32 ounces is usual a max, however, because at that point, there is so much pump inside the collection container that it will need to be emptied out before you can prepare more juice. The unit is what I would consider a mid-sized unit and measures 9-1/2 by 8-3/4 by 16-1/2-inches. It has a 700-watt motor operates at 14,000 rpm for maximum extraction, and honestly doesn't really slow down unless you put a lot of pressure on the blades while you're juicing.I truly love this juicer and hope to use it for many years to come, but if for some reason it broke down tomorrow, short of getting it serviced, I would be completely content to run out and buy another replacement from Breville. I have been incredibly impressed with its performance over the years, and can give it only my highest praise and recommendations. :)I am a longtime Amazon Prime customer who writes reviews in my free time. Great Juicer!
This is my first juicer, so I don't have much to compare it to. It came well packaged and quickly, and was easy to get out of the package. I washed it and set it up immediately. It doesn't take up too much space in the kitchen--one of the reasons why I've not gotten a juicer sooner is that I have serious space limitations in my urban galley kitchen. It is about the size of a large food processor. It makes great juice!! I've juiced 4 times in 3 days using kale, celery, green apple and fresh ginger. It is easy to clean, just 4 parts to wash, which I've done by hand, although I do think the bowl and accessories are dishwasher safe. The mesh screen does need to be brushed with the included brush as the veggie particles are very fine and stick to the screen. I do feel badly about all of the good pulp that gets left behind--all that fiber. So I am going to try to incorporate the kale and celery pulp into a soup. It does not seem to be too noisy. I am really happy with it. Oh, and I bought the refurbished version and it works great. I highly recommend.

Juicing, juicing, juicing!
It's quiet, looks brand new and juices everything we throw at it. The parts clean up pretty easily. The mesh part will clog and need to be cleaned in the middle of some juices if you are using super fibrous produce (ginger especially). We've been juicing a couple times a day for over a week since we got it and it has no signs of slowing down or falling a part. Other reviews say that it leaves some juice behind so we've run the pulp back through and we aren't getting much more juice. I think that issue is more about the speed and pressure that the food is being pushed through. It was a great purchase at a great price.

Breville RM-BJE200XL (Remanufactured) 700-Watt Juice Extractor
The Breville BJE200XL is a very good juicer. I purchased the re-manufactured product which has apparently gotten some mixed response. But, for the drop in price, and since we only use it once or twice a week, it has been a very good deal for us so far.PROS:- The motor is very powerful. It's the most powerful juicer I have owned over the past 20 years.- For the most part, the waste material is nearly completely dry, but can occasionally end up needing a bit of a wring-out when done. It depends entirely on the fruit or vegetable being juiced.- The (small) pitcher has a lid that helps to skim off some of the foam created during juicing (see list of cons).- It comes with a cleaning brush/spatula combo to help remove waste from the small channel in the housing and from the extractor screen.CONS:- The circular/satellite style waste bin is far too small, as is the receiving pitcher, and the housing too fidgety to make more than two medium glasses of juice at a time. I would have preferred a rear-bin design and taller pitcher, but I don't have the counter space. Taking the housing apart to empty the waste mid-process is rather messy and annoying.- The housing design allows for a bit too much free-flying debris to be ejected from the feed chute.- The feed chute has two rather sharp plastic fins that guide the plunger straight through the chute. The fins seem unnecessary to me. But, more to the point, they are (literally) a pain to get around when washing the inside of the chute. I can't see the reasoning behind nearly knife-sharp plastic plunger guides.- The 700-watt motor is so powerful that it aerates the juice *a lot* as it extracts it, which wastes a bit of the final product--more so than less powerful juicers--causing a lot of foam to fill the wee receiving pitcher, rather than plain juice.- The rather small pitcher comes with a fitted lid that has a small opening for the juicer's spout to sit in. This prevents splash-out, but it also make it awkward to sit the pitcher under the spout--you need to tilt the entire unit a small amount.- The pitcher's lid is also loosely fitted to the pitcher, and it sits recessed into the pitcher far more than is practical, limiting the amount of juice the pitcher can hold. As well, if there is a lot of foam being produced, the lid compresses the foam through the small openings and out onto the counter if you're not paying close attention. Conclusion:Despite the greater number of cons than pros in my list, this is actually a very good juicer for a limited space and low price. I have other Breville counter-top appliances and have always been pleased with them--even though this juicer may not be quite up to par with their counter-top ovens. If you are short on counter space and do not intend to make a gallon of juice in one sitting (or, have a substantial amount of patience for fidgety assembly when cleaning), this may be a very good choice for you.

Muy práctico
Vale la pena lo que cuesta, muy bonito diseño y buena calidad en la extracción del jugo pues es de buen tamaño como para triturar una manzana. Excelente.
