I go through these like crazy, so this was exactly what I was looking for. I do different crafts, and for one reason or another, I am always needing a measuring tape. I have a 'helper'. He's an orange cat. He thinks he's still a kitten, and he chews on everything, (except the things I've bought for him, made for him to chew on!). I keep losing measuring tapes to his sharp little teefs, no matter how careful I try to be. (He's a snooper and will help himself to my supplies...he's learned how to open things!) These tape measures don't get chewn up as easily, since they're not so 'plasticy'. They're more ;fabricy', if that makes sense. They're much more durable than the average tape measure because of what they're made of. I love the different colors. For me it doesn't serve a purpose, but I like variety and color! (But then so does my orange cat, ugh!) These 'measure up' perfectly fine against what I know is reliable, so the measurements are on point. In short, they look good, they do what they're supposed to do, and I think they stand a fighting chance against the orange menace. If one falls in the line of battle, I have backup, because it's a multi-pack! It's a win-win!! I needed these in my life!!
