**Q: Can this pancake maker work in the uk**
A: Jack,
Canada and USA has the same voltage so with regards to UK i think  there is a voltage difference .This product does work but we have to buy external voltage protector to get it worked.

A: I don't know.  I gave this item as a Christmas gift.

A: Yes. There are 6 beeps when waffle maker is heated/ready to cook and then 3 beeps when waffles are done.
