**Q: Is this item shipped with ice packs or otherwise kept cool?**
A: YES!!!! I got mine yesterday and there was what appeared to be a bag of dry ice included with the yeast. Excellent packing and shipping. Will buy again fer sure. HIC...

**Q: How much cider does each vial support, is it 5 gallons for each vial?**
A: Yes, this is the normal volume for a 5 gallon batch. That said, You can use it in any amount of cider theoretically, since it works by reproducing until they run out of sugar to eat. So it should only affect the length of time it takes to finish fermenting if you used more/less yeast/juice. For sizing down, I would use about half the vial for a 1 gallon batch.

**Q: Are there any additives or emulsifiers in this yeast? What are the ingredients?**
A: Have no idea. Used for cider. White Labs probably better place to go for answer.

### ⭐⭐⭐ An OK yeast, but not my favorite.

Been using this yeast for a few batches of hard cider now. This yeast is just ok. It tends to leave a lot of undesired yeasty aftertastes and bad aromas even with 6-12 months of aging. Also noticed that any fermentation above 68 F fails to complete malolactic fermentation. 65-68 is the ideal range for this yeast. Good, but overall not as great as others.
