I restore old antique trunks as a hobby and have tried a variety of fasteners for the reassembly of the trunks.I finally settled on these fasteners because of their better appearance , they come in shiny brass ,antique brass and black . You can buy the kit of 5M screws in varied lengths and you can cover many different thickness/depth needs and have a nice decorative piece on the reveal side. This kit has several lengths to work for different thickness needs with 2 screw lengths. The threads are all well machined and hold a reasonable amount of tightening, As with any small threaded fastener , patience is a must to prevent cross threading. I am on about my 5th box of these and am very pleased with them for my application.

These are just what I needed. Perfect sizes for everything I build or fix. Quality if fine, and they seem to be very tough.

Very good quality material and i appreciated having different sizes. What was somewhat disappointing was that the posts (the female part) did not have a slot to hold it with a flat blade or philips screwdriver so the two parts could be tightened down. With this design if you try to tighten down the male part, the post simply rotates freely so it is not possible to really tighten down the two sections. My other Chicago screws have slots on both parts so it is very easy to tighten them down. Otherwise, these screws are great.

I needed one screw for a watch band, I ended up using two of these things so they would match exactly. I am very pleased with quality and quantity, the price is reasonable.

I'm using them as hooks for a leather cuff, and they screw together tightly and don't seem to loosen easily. They're heavy weight and look great!

These were used to secure lace hooks to boots. The rivets were pulling apart. The Chicago screw and a drop of thread locker has added the needed strength and durability I wanted.I picked one thickness size too big, so I inverted the screws, (slots one the outside of the leather). The effect is a steampunk touch that is unexpectedly nice. Had I measured more accurately, the look would have a factory standard. I missed the hook hole size by 0.001". Measure closely 😁

When I opened a paper envelop, I could see broken case on one corner wide open, with some screws and posts were scattered inside of the paper envelop. I can see more cracks on other corners. Always disappointed by Amazon Packaging. You can take a close look on advertisement photo , you will see "Screw M3*3 mm15 Pcs" and "Screw M3*4mm 75 Pcs". But they're NOT. Actual top screws I got is M4 size, so is printed on the sticker! (Compare advertisement photo and mine). Overall quality is acceptable but screws don't go in as smooth as they say. DO NOT RECOMMENDED.
