I can't really comment and l hope l don't have to use it.The fact l have this tool in my car l know it is going to be a must if l can't get out of my car.This should come with all cars when you buy one.

They look well made not had to use them yet,,hopefully never will, kept in vehicle just in case one day

Whether it's a hot day and you just want to save a dog trapped in a supermarket carpark or you're an enterprising car thief, there are probably more uses for a safety hammer than the name suggests. Still, this is really something you hope you never have to use and I hope you won't judge me too harshly if I tell you I didn't break a window to find out if this will save your life. What I can say is, I can't see why it wouldn't. It's well made and looks as if it's up to the job. As with many budget Chinese products, little extras are thrown in, but in all honesty the whistle is pretty feeble.Fortunately, the business end of this package, which is designed to be found even in relative darkness is good and well worth it for the money. Just don't put it in the boot. The side doors are probably your best bet, as you may not be able to reach the glove compartment.

I keep this in my side pocket of my vehicle and I think its a necessary tool to have. Its a small hammer type contraption that enables you to smash glass or cut a seat belt in the even of an accident. Very well priced too

These car safety hammers come in a pack of two and includes a black platic holder for the hammers and an orange whistle. I think these are an essential item to carry in any car. The hammers a not slip handle which also has a reflector on it, the hammer heads themselves which is made of carbon steel and at the other end there is a seat belt cutter. The black plastic holder to house the hammer, I thought was loose with the hammer inside so I wouldn't advise you think about placement in the car as it might fall out of case. I put it in the glove box as I though that was the safes option. I did think the price was reasonable for two car safety hammer and a whistle.

Obviously, I haven’t tried it out on our car to test, but I am sure it is capable of doing the job.• There is also a Whistle supplied on a little split ring. It is intended to use to gain attention. Whilst it is a good idea, it is not that loud. The whistle I car when out with the dogs is louder.
