First, note: My feet require a shoe with a wide toe box. If yours don’t, you may not like these shoes as much as I do. I’ve played tennis, and now Pickleball, for at least 50 years; and I’ve probably worn tennis shoes from every company that makes them. For the past several years, at least the last ten, I’ve worn ASICS Gel-Resolutions, starting with the Resolution 3’s (They’re now on the Resolution 9) and I liked them a lot. However, with every iteration, ASICS made them narrower and narrower. Now they don’t work for me at all, so I started looking at a different brand. I noticed several of my friends wearing K-Swiss Hypercourt 2’s, and decided to give them a try. As soon as I put them on my feet, I knew they were going to be great for me. I started playing with them right out of the box, and they needed no breaking in. I played in them the same day I bought them. They’re roomy for my gigantic toes, especially the one that goes to market, and the one that cries “wee, wee, wee,” all the way home. The Hypercourts have plenty of shock absorption, good traction, and they breathe really well. They also look good, which is important. When I’m not playing worth a darn, at least I can look good. In a nutshell, these are simply the most comfortable tennis shoes I’ve ever owned. I immediately ordered a second pair. For Person who needs a shoe with a wide toe box, I highly recommend them.
