Loses softness & looks worse after washing
It is truly washable, but the faux fur comes out quite a bit in the machine then makes the rug feel less soft and diminishes the appearance making it look and feel cheap. I just use it as a cover for the couch for my dogs now.

SO DISAPPOINTED!
I suppose you get what you pay for… this was not expensive but still way more than it was worth. The fabric is incredibly cheap and VERY thin. Also, they do not hold up to wash or wear at all. After the first wash, the felt backing peeled right off (yes, I followed manufacturer’s instructions), and the “hair” was never the same. It matted down and sort of disintegrated. It feels rough and is just ugly. I have a light soft brush I attempted to use to fix it but no go. So bummed. I do not recommend purchasing this.
