I use to study for police test multiple times

This study book is pretty good. It uses mostly tests and information from NJ and NY for its source material. I live in TN and a lot of the facial comparison pictures are irrelevant to me because that’s not even a part of our exams. I do wish it had more of the map type questions as I feel I could use more practice on those. The study tips are very useful and I’ve found them to be helpful in all kinds of test taking.

This book i think was great help. My only complaint is that it is very focussed around the NY City test, and my test, although was in NY, was not a city test, and was nothing at all like the book practice tests of content. However, if you read all the strategies provided, and practice the test and the wording, you should be prepared for anything they are asking. The test is less about what you know, and more about how well you can understand what they are asking and extrapolating the correct answers from information provided.

This is the second version I buy. I can’t say it was the reason I’ve passed so many law enforcement exams as I’m a genius but it definitely helped. All jokes aside this is a great book, especially as a refresher for tests I’ve taken later on in my career. I aced many law enforcement exams and I genuinely think that this book gave me some insight and confidence to thankfully do well enough to where I had the option on what agency I would join. I bought a second copy for a friend who’s trying to get in the force and he’s feeling confident about the exam.

This book will absolutely get you ready for the police test! If you manage to read it all, and finish all the tests getting all correctly, you will totally pass. The tests are exactly like this and the book does a fantastic job at pointing you to the right way of becoming a police officer.

The test questions will guide you to understand what to expect during the actual exam.

This book is a must for preparing for law enforcement testing. I tested for my local PD that does not use National Testing Services “which is a joke test” this test was 3 hrs long and extremely difficult. I passed with the highest score out of 6 others, which got me a job offer.

The information is valid. This book breaks down and explains the proper way to attacking multiple choice questions. As well as it teaches you how to maximize you time and many other stuff you would need when going into the exam and other parts of the recruitment process.
