I love this book. It is full of wonderful designer patterns for shawl. I am an intermediate knitter, and I got so many creative ideas that are by younger newer designers from all over the world.

The book is in perfect condition same as new.

While I'm not crazy about the small print, I do like a vast majority of the shawls. I do a lot of intricate lace shawls and it's nice to have this resource of simpler patterns to give my old brain a break from time to time. Very glad I made this purchase

Previously published in hard copy as 52 weeks of shawls, this is a great price for such a large compendium! Something here for everyone!

*** For knitters with intermediate and advanced skills.***This book is packed full of patterns for absolutely gorgeous shawls, scarves and a few cowls. The only reason I didn't give this book a full 5-star rating is because the font is so tiny and difficult for my elderly eyes to read, that I'd need to print off and enlarge any pattern I would want to knit.

This book of patterns is not for me. The patterns are not for beginners at all and even a seasoned knitter like myself would stumble a bit. The designs are not suitable to my liking as I am not fond of flowers or crosses. I didn’t like any of the scarves and will put this book in the book recycle bin.

Love this book. Patterns are beautiful and the pictures are very good.

Wow! So many beautiful patterns I don't know where to start. I'm sure I will knit many from this book. Well worth the $$.

Edición en tapa blanda del libro 52 Weeks of Shawls. Sí, es el mismo libro con los mismos patrones. Esta opción es perfecta si, como me pasa a mí, no sueles tejer chales, pero quieres tener el libro y no te apetece gastarte los casi 40 euros que cuesta la edición en tapa dura.Tengo que decir que, pese a ser de tapa blanda, la calidad es buenísima. Hay algunos comentarios que destacan que la letra es muy pequeña, y es cierto, pero es que los primeros libros publicados por Laine iban con ese tamaño de letra (el primer volumen de 52 Weeks of Socks, por ejemplo, es igual. En libros posteriores, han cambiado la tipografía y aumentado un poquito el tamaño). En cuanto al color de la letra, en mi libro al menos es negro y se ve perfectamente.Resumiendo: relación calidad-precio fabulosa para los 52 patrones que lleva.En cuanto al tiempo de entrega, lo he recibido 10 días antes de lo previsto, lo cual ha sido una sorpresa muy positiva.

There are many patterns in this book that are unique and very pretty. All are well illustrated and there are full instructions provided including stitch diagrams where couloir work is used. The notation of patterns is a bit eccentric in places especially for an older UK knitter used to standard knitting notation but I will work it out I’m sure. This book is in my opinion well work the price and is printed in good quality paper and bound securely.

Livre très dense avec de magnifiques modèles. Malheureusement encore une fois la livraison n'est pas à la hauteur ! Paquet parvenu à moitié ouvert, le livre ayant été déformé et abîmé ! Ce n'est pas la première fois que ce problème se produit
