Brass Blessing Clock Winding Key Set - 5025

This was a great for the money. Fit my mantle clock perfectly.

I have one of those "Russian submarine clocks" that were sold en masse back in the 90s, with the hinged front that requires a key to open. This fits the clock, and that's all I needed it for. Very handy.

I have a growing collection of mechanical clocks which require periodic winding. I bought these so that I'd always have a key which fits, something which can be a problem with new purchases. Note, though, that there are no free lunches. The advantage of these winding keys is that they will fit just about anything. The disadvantage is that it may not be as convenient as a dedicated key. I was fully aware of this tradeoff when I bought these, so I'm not knocking off a star in the rating. One example where these will not work is recessed mechanisms, which may require an extra long key. I've got one such clock, so I had to purchase a special key. If you've only got one clock, a dedicated key will likely work out better, but if you've got a lot, or are planning on getting more, this may be just what you need.

Keys are shiny brass, the key numbers are on the center round sections. We did not have a key for either my or my husbands antique clocks, #7 key on these clock winding keys worked on both our antique clocks. It wound both the clock and chime features.The only thing I didn’t like was the keys arrived with the #6 key detached from the round holder. We tried but did not succeed in reattaching it.All in all the keys worked for our purposes, are attractive, and we’re at a great price.

Good keys if you are unsure of which key size you need for your clock.

Got clock running but I still have to figure out how to get it keep correct time.

This is a tool to establish the size of the key for your antique clock, as well you could use them as the key for all your old key wind clocks. Works as advertised

Made of brass and solid If people have Grandfather and other such winder clocks. Do yourself a favour and get a spare key Glad I did even if I didn’t have to

Upon placing the order to seller contacted me to let me know that the item could take 4 weeks or more to arrive. This was no problem. The items arrived today, very well packaged and work perfectly. While I only needed one for the grandfather clock I now have a full even/odd number set for other clocks.For this I can recommend this merchant.

worked with 2 clocks that I had inherited.I needed 3 sizes and these did the trick.Not yet sure about durability, bt they seem to be good.
