This is the best Garlic press I've ever used. Its large enough for me to put a large clove or several small cloves at once and with the gray press piece that came with this, its easy to clean. The press itself seems very sturdy and has not bent on me yet. I would recommend this product.

The media could not be loaded.  Easy to use, easy to clean. My video shows me pressing 4 cloves of unpeeled garlic. Yes, I had to use both hands to press it and if my hands were super weak this would not be the press for me. But I LOVE this press. Garlic does not ooze out of the sides of the press even when filled to capacity. The only thing left inside of the press is the skin. Which is easily removed with a knife. I have never used the two cleaning pieces that come with the press. I remove most of the debris with a knife and what’s left is removed with a kitchen scrub brush and a little Dawn. Then I let it air dry. I love that the handle is cast and in one piece. The previous press I owned had a handle that was coming apart because it was not cast. The handle of this press is very comfortable to use. Again, you do need some strength, but it’s not like you need to be the Hulk to crush garlic. You can do it!I imagine this will be the last garlic press I will ever need to purchase.

I had to read the negative reviews to see if there was inconsistency in the product or how this could be not be 5 stars. I've owned probably 4 different garlic presses in my life before this one that I've been using for the last 2-3 months. It's a fabulous product. I'm planning to buy it as a Christmas present for my brother who loved using mine. You seriously do not have to take the cloves out of their skins! And the complaint about there being too much space around the margin of the "piston"—this is a plus because it makes it easy to press, open, and remove the waste; this is not a design flaw, but the point of it. I use fresh minced garlic without hesitation now—no mess and no stinky hands! Have a sharp knife nearby to slice the minced garlic off the press after it's pressed out. The metal material has a great weight and non-stick surface to it; however, it is possible this won't last forever (it feels like it's plated; it's not teflon, but seems like it is sort of like that—but the price is right, so I wasn't expecting more than this. The cleaning tool does get lost and found a lot, but is useful when I have it. The burlap sack is fun but I had originally worried that it made this product look gimmicky. I want manufacturers to put their resources into and the cost to reflect high quality products, not unnecessary accoutrements—but, it's fine, and I still highly recommend this press. It is unlike any other I have ever seen or used. It also has the most efficient leverage of any press I've used, I imagine, due to the double width of it compared to most presses. You still need to have some muscle to press this, but it's probably a 50% improvement on the typical garlic press.

I opted to buy a more expensive garlic press because I wanted something that would last. It has been just about two years and you can see in the photos that the metallic finish is coming off. Tonight I noticed that it was tarnishing the garlic, so I opted to throw it out and had to manually peel and cut the garlic.It claims to be safe to wash in the dishwasher, but I have to wonder if it really isn’t dishwasher safe. I recommend hand washing it to make it last longer.Such a bummer. I really hoped for the best.

I loved this garlic press so much that I’ve gifted it to several family members. I returned today to gift another one. I’ve had my press for several years and use it 2+ times a week. I have not experienced the sluffing of paint as described in a few negative reviews. I do hand wash it.

Don’t be fooled by plastic versions, they don’t hold up against fresh garlic.

Should last forever. I'll never give it away. I would certainly gift them to loved garlic lovers!

Works really well, no need to peel Garlic Cloves, (skin stays in crusher).Do not know how I managed without one of these.I've tried about 3 different Garlic Crushers over the years, & none of them were any good - some were totally useless, or ridiculously hard to clean, some broke.This is the best one I have had. They are all fiddly to clean, but this one is the easiest to clean I've tried, (I use a Cheese Knife to lift the skin out of the crusher each time I crush a fresh clove, I usually use half a bulb at a time for myself cooking). I like GarlicThere's also a special plastic tool included to get the bits out of the meshwork in the crusher when finally cleaning/washing that really does the job, & there's a spare one of these included as well. And a place to store it inside the crusher at the back of the handle.Costs a little more but I would not be without this now I've used it.Also feels well made in the hand, I think it's aluminium & very well designed to function as intended with minimal hassle.Saves so much time!!!! A++++++++

Amazing !!!! Well worth the money!! I tried this for the first time tonight and we have garlic in most of our meals so other garlic press are nowhere near as good as this one and they dont last long so you end up spending more on cheaper ones because they break so easily. I put my garlic gloves in without peeling and omg it was amazing! All the garlic came out perfectly. Plus you get a bag to put your garlic cloves in. Honestly buy this and you wont regret it.
