My kitchen had a single ceiling lamp in the center, which was pathetic. Wherever I stood, the countertop was always in my shadow. An LED strip under the cabinets helped, but there’s also a long peninsula with nothing overhead.After much contemplation, the idea of a sort of artsy-craftsy, copper steam-punk look came to mind. Because all the light fixtures would be so prominent, some sort of unique, decorative bulbs seemed appropriate. These work great. The LEDs inside each big round globe are a double helix. Very unusual. From any angle, they form a unique looking spiral. There’s no other bulb like it.The bulbs look great at night, with all the lights set low. When working in the kitchen, with the lights turned up, everything is brightly lit—at last!If you look closely at one of the photos, you can see the spiral pattern inside the bulbs. In order to get that image, the lights had to be set pretty low. The other photo shows full brightness. These lights are on a second generation Leviton dimmer, btw. Works great! I especially like the optional, battery powered switch. Just stick it anywhere, and it looks and acts like a regular wall switch. It uses Wi-Fi to connect with the main wall switch, which in my kitchen is poorly located. I put the battery operated switch in a more convenient location—hardly need Siri or Alexa with it there.As for how long the bulbs will last, I’m optimistic. After six months, none have failed. In my experience, most standard LEDs have proved inferior to those that are dimmable. The only high quality standard LEDs I’ve had were made by Lohas. They’ve been going strong in my refrigerators and freezers for many years. I’d have bought that brand if they sold this particular design. Yet these seem bulbs as well-made. 🤞

These lights were bright. I bought wanting the beautiful edison part to show but the black rim showed, which isn’t ascetically pleasing

Love the globe shape and the twisty coil. Looks great even when turned off. I have them in my powder room vanity light with globe shaped clear glass bulb covers so the bulbs look perfect in them. The color/light is bright enough but be aware that it is a warm tone, not a cooler bright color.

Now that’s what I call a lightbulb!We have these three large pendant lights in our kitchen that needed a cool lightbulb and we struggled to find the perfect one. After trying several without find the right one, we got these. They are perfect. They are bright, dimmable, and provide just enough detail in the lamp to catch your eye but not too much that it takes away from the overall aesthetic of the light fixtures.Would recommend.

Among other minor problems. The glass tint is also missing at the bottom. Other than they work....A little smaller than the pictures show them as.
