This is my second vest from this manufacturer, and am pleased. The dog outgrew the first vest (a large). I remeasured him and he was between a X-Large and XX-large. Per the manufacturer recommendation, I went with the larger size and am glad I did. Less stress on the zipper, harness fits well. Gives him plenty of room and is still warm & dry. He is a 17 lb West Highland Terrier (Westie). Gives him a little bit of room to grow if he goes off his diet!

I have a spaniel and bought a size medium. It looks really nice only it runs a little small and doesn't stretch so I have to return it and get a size larger. I can't rate the other things because he can't use it but I'm quite sure that I'll be happy with the larger size because it looks really nice.

What a great idea the harness is already attached to the coat. Well there’s one problem if you have a long-haired dog zipping it is going to be a problem you have to be careful you don’t catch his hair or her hair you have to hold it down by that time the dogs disgusted but with all that said it’s ingenious so you’re not pulling the loop through a tiny hole when you’re trying to get him outside New Jersey has been so warm he’s only worn it once but that zipper is my biggest problem other than that this is the biggest invention I’ve ever seen Harness attached to the clothing love love love it

I hardly ever write a review but since I was lead to this jacket through reviews, I thought it only fair. This jacket is cozy, warms and well-fitting - just perfect for my Shih Tzu who is 15 pounds (got size 2XL). Shih Tzu's need cold weather protection because they have hair and not fur (think of your head) and, once I figured out how to adjust the straps this turned out to be great jacket for him. No more changing harnesses to allow for the the girth needed to get around a dog coat. I love it and just ordered another one. And here's a tip - cut the sleeve off of an old women's sweater and using the cuff as the neck, cut two holes where the legs go. Makes a perfect under coat sweater (not too bulky).

The xxl fit my 16 lb girl perfect, longer body length to cover her part dachshund length. She struts her stuff, the red color is a tad on the orange side for those who need true red. The only downside was after 3 wears, the neck area seam came open, I whipped stitched it close and hope it was just a freak occurrence. I may buy a 2nd.

This is a great product but I have a mini dachshund and it was way too short for her. It was like a crop top.

Nice cold weather jacket for our dogs! Super easy on and off and the built in harness is awesome. They do run small by typical sizing so check the chart and order accordingly. Gus the 13 lb. Shih-Poo is in a size XL and Lily the 7 lb Yorkie is in a size Large. We are in Minnesota and last week high temps were below 0* F and they both did just fine getting out to do their business!

I have a little 6 pound Shih Tzu & decided mid February in Washington state was indeed the best time of the year to shave him. Well needless to say the poor little guy was freezing his butt off. I bought this for him because his sweater is pretty bulky & I couldn't fit the harness over it for our walks. So it would involve taking the sweater off, putting the harness on, putting the sweater back on. And said sweater doesn't have the opening at the top for the leash to hook to his harness. This keeps him nice & warm. And he just looks cute as all get out in it. I'll try to add a photo. The quality is nice & having the flap that extends under the zipper makes it so you aren't zipping up their hair.
