What a value.
At the time of writing, this box is about $155. That is an decent price for basically a combat patrol of models (even though it is split between two factions). This is perfect for someone who is interested in both Chaos Space Marines and Aeldari. If you have a friend to split this with even better. Autarchs are pretty nice and Chosen are pretty decent right now. Always someone looking for a maulerfiend/forgefiend it seems as well. The book that comes with it has nice art and an interesting narrative campaign that balances the models in the box pretty nicely against each other from reading it over. I collect both armies of this and bought two but if you like even one half of this army depending on your playstyle and model preference this is a solid buy at $155. Poster also looks nice.

Unbelievably cheap!
This was a fantastic by I don't have any use for the eldar and I may just give them away but I know that I got the whole box for less money than what I could have bought the forge fiend and the chosen for. So it was basically like by chosen kit and a forge fiend get a free warp Smith and eldar combat patrol had to buy it happy I did.

Not worth the price.
I don’t know what Games Workshop is thinking about but the “Value” of these boxes is bad. It’s the first time since I’ve rejoined the hobby (late 2018) that after putting together the first mini I really felt ripped off, and I felt ill about it. IDK in 2018 I felt like the hobby was accessible as collecting multiple armies was feasible and fun but now it’s expensive FOMO stuff with lots of gotcha mechanics, the price point entry was around 500 for a 2000 pt army in 2018 without the paints and modeling equipment. Now it’s around 800-1000 dollars per army without all the hobby paints etc, which is an insane price point just to get into the hobby, with paints etc you’re easily looking at bare minimum 100 for paints and 50 for decent brushes 50 for okay hobby tools so 1100+ dollars for just fielding a new army, it’s infuriating.
