Bear KompleXWeight Lifting Belt for Men & Women - 6" Adjustable, Comfortable & Low Profile Heavy Duty Belt for Powerlifting, Cross Training, Squats & Deadlifts

I have owned a few belts now, from super expensive leather Rogue belts, to Harbinger velcro/nylon belts. I have been lifting for a few years and have been looking for the "right" fit. I had back surgery (lumbar discectomy) so I have no problems walking away from even an expensive belt if it doesn't perform the way I need it to. That being said, this is a quality belt. I prefer nylon/velcro belts because there is no weird spaces like with a leather belt, or too much added bulk. This belt is well, really, perfect for me. I have a relatively thin waist (31/32) and medium fits me perfect with room to grow. The velcro is very durable and has a fantastic hold. My harbinger wore out very quickly and when doing heavy clean and jerks overhead and flexing my abdomen as hard as I could, would pop the velcro. This doesn't happen at all with the Bear Komplex belt. I think it is fantastic. The design is also very nice. I really like the Stars and Stripes. I rarely give 5 stars, but their customer service and following up with me was a nice touch to see if I like the product. This is a quality product from a quality company.

As a big fan of Bear Komplex grips, I thought I'd give their belt a shot to replace an old no-named brand belt I had for years. At first, I really like the belt. It has great back support, but the poor review is mainly due to the HORRIBLE Velcro on the belt! I've owned this belt for less than 1 year, worn it on average 1-2 times per week for squats, deadlifts and Olympic lifts but after around 8 months of use, the Velcro started to fail. At the bottom of a rep where you need the most support, the Velcro has popped off which is pretty dangerous mid-rep, especially if you're lifting heavy. This belt is unusable at this point. Avoid this belt if you're looking for something with longevity! Invest a few more dollars and get one from 2POOD (quality Velcro and much better buckle system that preserves Velcro life) and avoid injuring yourself.

This is Mike's girlfriend, Ashley writing this review :) I had him order this belt for me, as I do CrossFit and heavy weightlifting and struggle with back issues. I would use my boyfriend's belt or the belts at the gym, but have never had my own. Mike had recently given me the Bear KompleX hand grips for Christmas in the same color as this belt, and I love them, so that attracted me to ordering this belt from this brand. I also didn't want to spend a fortune. So far, I have been very satisfied with this belt. Typically, during workouts that involve deadlifts, my back starts to hurt. When I used this belt, it didn't hurt... at all!!! It certainly helps keep my core tight and my form in check. I love this belt so much already, and look forward to doing more workouts and competitions with this belt! Thank you Bear KompleX!

Been waiting a while before I wrote review. And after much usage this BELT ROCKS!!!! it's perfect can't love it anymore. I never get anything free from anyone, and no one is paying me to give it 5 stars, but I definitely mad it a point to leave a review. I honestly think the belt is better than the old school leather belts, I feel better support. And as someone who has been in the gym for well over 35 years believe me I know. Just a great belt and product from the company. I paid for the belt with my money, and I'm still thanking you guys for a great item.

I was concerned about buying a belt without trying it on, but this belt is highly referred to by Crossfit enthusiasts. Due to that, I thought I would try it. I have problems with my Psoas and have had to wear a belt to prevent associated injuries. The thing that I loved about this belt is that immediately I felt supported. During today's workout, I did a combination of Crossfit and Bodybuilding. I love the feel of having this on (even when running). The name 'Bear' is a perfect description of it, because it feels like there's a big bear hugging you from behind with a firm and supportive grasp around your waist. I feel solid and safe. It has a wider front (which I love) because it helps with bracing my abdominals and protecting my psoas from overextension (especially when fatigued). I am short at 5'3, have a very small space between the bottom of my ribcage and the top of my hip, and have approx. a 32" waist. I took a chance and bought a medium. This sizing is great. There are times where I have to 'overlap' the ends, but there are also times when I need the extra stretch and length, so a medium works well. Solid and durable metal roller and hardcore velcro. The cost is just as good (if not better). I absolutely love this product and if I need to buy another I will!

Love this belt. I have used it a few times since I received it. The belt itself is stiff, which I like, and very supportive on my back. The velcro is also very strong and I am sure with proper care will hold up just nice. I had been using a community belt at my box and going for a PR squat and the damn velcro gave out and I crumpled, which is what pushed me to buy my own belt. I looked at a lot of belts and this one caught my eye because of the stars and stripes design, plus I love the companies name. So you got me hook line and sinker!

Very nice weightlifting belt. I've been using whatever belts were hanging on the hook at my gym, but wanted something better. The quality seems very good and I like the width of the belt....not too wide and not too narrow. The back support is great because it's slightly stiffer in the back but still has a nice cushion. The velcro is strong and holds really well. If you want to avoid lower back injury while working out, do yourself a favor and buy this belt. You won't be disappointed. If you're wondering what size to get, follow their sizing guide. I have a 31"-32" waist and got the Small which is perfect.

Siempre había buscado un cinturón que me diera soporte a la espalda pero sin comprometer movilidad para realizar mis ejercicios. Intente con muchos y aunque daban buen soporte a la hora de hacer movimientos de levantamiento olímpico o wods de crossfit, encontraba que no era cómodo o no dejaba pasar la barra cerca al cuerpo. Con este cinturón encontré el balance perfecto. Muy recomendado

tye Sizing is slightly off I went for a large I’m 34” waist with a piss tank nd it’s still to big..Good belt tho. Hope this helps

Be careful on buying these, it was very small and when I tried to return it, I got charged 15 percent urn and it got sent back to me.

Seems to be a great belt, Velcro is strong, pulls up nice and tight fits well around back, always had leather belts in past, but so far very pleased with this.

Buen producto, se nota la calidad de los materiales.He comprado una talla S, mido 1,78 peso 77 kilos y normalmente uso una 40/42 de pantalón, ajusta perfectamente.Práctico CrossFit y lo utilizo con mucha asiduidad, sobretodo en los ejercicios más pesados como squats, cleans y demás. Se nota la sujeción extra que aporta, desde luego es un artículo para recomendar.En cuanto a la estética es exactamente igual a las fotos aportadas por el vendedor.El precio sin duda no es lo mejor del producto ya que no es barato, pero creo que se trata de un cinturón de primera calidad.

Esta muy bien, cómodo y agarra muy bien las lumbares. No se puede pedir más
