Because my door is harrow, I was dreading having to replace the whole thing, but this replacement was fantastic. No directions on the package, but I watched a reviewer's video. Didn't realize there are two small screws to tighten and had trouble screwing the knobs on the center rod, but once I discovered that, it was a breeze. I'm waiting for the other doorknob to break so I can replace it.

This was placed on a door that is used daily. They are easily assembled and put on the door. Very beautiful on our 1929 house. Have now been use for months and seem to be working well.
