Looks very good and functioning.

My old brakes got loose, and I've lost the nut that holds brake pad in place (along with the pad), so instead of looking for the very specific set of nuts, I bought this kit for 11 EUR.I have got brake levers, 2 pads, a splitting cord and all required nuts and bolts - everything I needed for cantilever brake swap.The installing process was super easy, all parts are well made and fit great.As far as I know, there is no difference between front and rear cantilever brakes, so I just flipped the pads upside-down and put it on the front fork.ONE IMPORTANT NOTE: The spring in the base of the levers is exposed, there is no guard or cap for it, like you could find on other Shimano cantilever models (Deore BR-M650 or Deore XT M700 BR-MC70). It is also presented on the last photo.For me - it is not a big deal, I ride around town mostly in a good weather. But if you are looking for a guarded model, you may want to search for another model.

I needed a replacement to go on my tricross. This shorty size was tidier, much easier to fix and performed as well as the old wide type. Would use them again if restoring another bike with cantilever brakes. Sincere thanks to YouTube.
