Kinesio Taping - Elastic Therapeutic Athletic Tape Tex Gold FP - Black – 2 in. x 16.4 ft

This is the brand of tape recommended by my physical therapist and is so much better than the other brand I bought. Stays where you put it, lasts through showers and doesn't irritate skin. Comes off easily with minimum amount of sticky residue left behind.It was shipped promptly and was well packaged for shipping. I recommend this product.

My physical therapist used this tape on my lower back. I had used another brand in the past and tried it on my back (my spouse put it on), and it did not stay on at all. At my next visit I took a picture of what she was using and it was this tape. I just ordered me a second roll of tape. It is easy to cut to the length you need. I have worn it for five days and taken a shower each day with no problems. It has really helped support my back where it is needed.

I am using this tape to help with "trigger thumb". It is easy to apply and stays on for several days, even with frequent handwashing. It prevents the locking of the sore joint, but still allows me to use my thumb. It is easy to cut to the desired length, and I did not need to soak it with oil to remove it, possibly because it is on my hand and had been soaked several times from showering, handwashing, doing dishes, etc. It stayed on until I wanted to remove it, and my thumb was not at all irritated. I'm happy with the tape and will probably have to use it for several weeks, so glad it is not irritating.

Learned about this product through my Physical Therapist. Gives me relief from my torn tricep whenever I’m playing basketball or just experiencing pain in general. It works surprisingly well. It does sting a little upon removing if you have hair in the applied area though so be aware! Although I did learn that rubbing oil (olive oil, avocado oil etc). Weakens the adhesive when it soaks through, so you can remove it easier.

Went through PT, and this is exactly the brand that they use. And I found this sticks, the best, and with the ability to make custom lengths, it is highly helpful. Has definitely helped in recovery of a tendon/muscle tear definitely would recommend.

Summary: sticks better than other brands, use baby oil for removal.I have arthritis, and I’m prone to developing PFPS (known often as runner’s knee) in my right knee. My physical therapist taught me how to tape my patella in place for high impact activities when I’m feeling any irritation.I needed to tape my knee on my own in between appointments, so I bought several brands and tried them out. I tried everything from “name brand” KT tape to random off brands from big box stores. I had the same issue with all of them - no matter how dry my skin was, the adhesive failed halfway through a sweaty workout. When my PT taped my knee, it lasted for days through multiple gym sessions and showers. I finally called to find out the product they use in office, and it is Kinesio TEX Gold. I purchased this roll, and it did not disappoint.This tape stays on extremely well through showers, gym sessions, applying lotion etc. It also keeps some tension for up to 3 days vs the other brands who were doing nothing by day 2 if they were even still adhered to my kneeThis tape can sometimes stay TOO well, and my tip for removal is applying baby oil and letting it sit for a few minutes. The baby oil will work even faster if applied right before you start a shower.

It works well and stays on for days even when you have showered everyday. Glue is very strong and sometimes peels of the top layer of skin in places and leaves black sticky residue on you skin. But worth the money.

I’ve tried other brands but this stuff wins! It’s the same tape they use at my Physical Therapist. Besides offering amazing support it stays on a week through showers and many trips to the pool. It’s heat activated so make sure you rub it after adhering it to your skin. 👌🏻
