Good safe.
Really good safe. Easy to set up and looks nice. Giving them only 4 stars because it came dented on one side. Nothing that will affect its usefulness but annoying nevertheless.

Great home safe no issues after 6 years of weekly use
I use this mostly for documents (birth certificates, taxes, passports, etc) given the security and fire rating. There is plenty of room for files and you could use a file hanger (I don't) and it would accomodate legal sized documents. It is bolted to the floor. The upper two compartments are used for jewelry and gold coins. The pockets on the doors are actually presewn for handguns. I keep 2 pocket rockets and 1 compact handgun in there, but it is not for long guns which would require a different safe (I use a fingerprint safe from Barska). You could only accomodate 2 fullsize handguns on the door pockets (but could easily fit more on the shelves). There are two velcro flap pockets on the door that fit cash, or in my case my computer backup. Since I keep my not-quite every day carry in there, I have opened it 2-3x a week for 6 years, and have had no issues with the locking mechanism. When the 9 volt battery is getting low, the safe will beep several times to let you know it will be time to change the battery soon. Even if it completely dies, it will not lose the code. I use a rechargeable battery without issues. There is a built in red led light in the keypad for use in the dark. I am in Texas and humidity has not been a problem, though I do keep some dehumidifier beads in there just in case.
