LOVE!
The single device took a very tedious and unsettling task and made it super simple. Very easy to install and very easy to use. Wish I had had this year’s ago.

lift
good product and good thought behind it. the screws that are used to mount your top to the lift system aren’t long enough. i found myself with hardly even enough threads to get the wing nut on. in addition to this i have a 10ft ceiling and with the lift as tight as it gets i could only lift the top about 9 inches off of the body of the jeep. this is fine if you’re taking the top off for a day and putting it back on but not ideal for seasonal storage at all. need a 15ft ceiling for seasonal storage or an empty bay or area that doesn’t get used if you plan to use with a lower ceiling.

Works but clunky
Perhaps I should have looked into this more prior to buying itThe unit works exactly like it is supposed to and it did make it possible for me to take the cover off and back on without a second person to lift it.BUT-The biggest issue is the clips that hook underneath the top. First, they have little rubber bumpers with bolts with go through the bottom of the top on each corner. The bolts in the bumpers were too short to allow me to get them on (and the pieces included do not look like the picture) but I was able to work around what with my own bumpers and bolts. But it still didn't change the fact that the time/labor needed to bolt/unbolt those pieces every time (which you have to prop up slightly on each corner to do so) is such a pain that the process is much, much, much slower than just having a second person lift it off. But if a second person isn't an option, it does work. And then, there is so much slack in the straps with it in the air that the top hangs down easily a foot and a half lower than it would need to.The hoist itself is ok, no complaints with it, but the attachment process leaves a lot to be desired.
