NT CUTTER Extra Sharp; Blade Utility Knife, Black And White (MNCR-L1)

Very nice smooth action and a quality product. It took a few weeks to arrive, but it was shipped from Japan and worth the wait.I like dealing with a company that is in a free nation where they elect their leaders and live free. I use this type of knife every day at work several times a day and this one makes the work easier due to the smooth action and high quality in every aspect. At first I thought that it was going to be hard to remove the end cap, but after a few times I learned that it's really easy when you push it the right direction on the back. The only thing that I would suggest to improve this would be to add a slot for containing replacement blades, but for the price and quality I think it's a great buy.

This brand hasn't let me down. Especially this model. I own one with the metallic body so I bought another one with confidence. I bought this one with plastic body because I need it in a high humidity area. It is surprising this hasn't been any rust on the body. Though as I expected, the blade rusted quite quick. It is normal, because the blades are not made to last long anyway. They are more likely to dull, use up and be changed a new blade in a usual usage. It is not necessary for me to use a blade extremely sharp. I use it for a long time until the rust work up the whole blade to be too weak and break. It works for me. It saves for me.The great things about this is the auto-lock and the exchangeable sides for a lefty or a righty no problem! The size is just right and handy.This is for light-duty works. Shouldn't try to cut strong solid things with this.The blade is a personal preference. I prefer to go with its brand and its sharper tip version.

I've used 5 or 6 different snap-blade utility knives over the last few months, mainly for carving holes in standard-weight cardboard. This one has become my favorite due to its strength and simplicity. I have a fairly easy time locking and unlocking the blade with one hand using the thumb wheel. This cutter is solid due to the aluminum frame, but is still a reasonable weight of 4 ounces (with blade). I think the extra ounce or so over plastic models is worth it. I added a bit of rubberized grip tape to mine for extra traction, but it's not really needed.

Super sharp. I thought the regular silver blades were sharp but these actually take less effort, less pressure, so a another, more accurate cut. The angle of the blade also makes cutting more precise. And, the aluminum body gives weight & rigidity for flow in cutting. I'll only but these from now on.

I have to say I've been extremely impressed with theis NT knife, I like them more than Ofla's (which are good), the quality, the feel and the action while using is really nice,. Highly recommend and excellent value.I also recommend the NT Cutter PRO Auto-Lock Stainless Steel Graphic Knife (AD-2P), its smaller and can be used more like a pen/exacto especially with the 30 degree black carbon blades.

This thing is exactly what I've been looking for in a exacto blade holder. I use large amounts of blades for cosplay crafts and this thing is perfectly sized and comfortable. I was considering 3D printing a blade holder until I saw this.I thought at first that the blade only locking in place by sitting in the row of teeth would make it slide around, but it works just fine.Highly recommend!

I used this utility knife as soon as I received. I have some similar utility knives, which were more expensive than this utility knives. I couldn't believe we kept using expensive awful utility knives for a long time. This utility knife allows the sharpness and depth of the cutting blade to be adjusted quickly and easily with one hand effortlessly but It's also very steady. There're lots of Japanese writing on the package and it might be made in Japan. I will definitely buy this utility knife again. Highly recommended!

This is not a cheap knife, as you can see. Is it worth it?Yes.That's all I need to say. This is great for small items, crafts, etc. We used it to open boxes and other household stuff but I also got a bigger, stouter knife for that kind of harsh work. I'll also review that one after this, here is the link  OLFA 1072198 LA-X 18mm Fiberglass Rubber Grip Heavy-Duty Utility Knife . It was just as good. I say get both, buy extra blades for both, and you'll literally be set for life (the blades are like 10 in a pack and they break off like 10 times or so).

Ich habe diese Cutter von NT schon vor 30 Jahren in der Werkstatt benutzt. Sie sind unverwüstlich und ich benutze die alten (Plastik-)Cutter von damals immer noch. Da ich nur noch zwei Stück hatte und in meinem Haus immer wieder auf der Suche bin, wo sie gerade herumliegen, musste ich jetzt einfach mal noch ein paar nachbestellen. Die Dinger sind ein Kauf fürs Leben und ein paar Euro mehr auszugeben lohnt sich hier definitiv!

I buy very rarely this kind of utensil. For the only one unit I need, quality is more important (compared to other offers where you could get 2 or 3 units for the same price). I don't use often, and in fact could get away OK with the dollar store one I am having. But I need replacement blades so I just ordered this knife at the same time just to try out something better. I am glad I did. It feel more pleasant to use a quality product.

Vorweg - das momentane Bild täuscht, das "rot" in der Beschreibung stimmt, der Gummi ist bei dem ausgelieferten Modell rot.Der Cutter ist schön stabil, hat genau das richtige Gewicht, die mitgelieferte Klinge ist Baumarktklingen weit überlegen (noch schärferer Ersatz: Olfa ABB 9mm Excel Black bzw. Tajima 9mm Razar Black). Man nimmt ihn einfach gerne in die Hand! Die automatische Verriegelung funktioniert bisher auch problemlos.

Muy cómodo y preciso. Esta muy bien fabricado y dura mucho el filó de sus cuchillas, no le doy la máxima calificación por que sus repuestos son muy caros. Pero por lo demás, es una excelente herramienta de corte de precisión

Als Profi benutze ich seit Jahren den Typ A300 und bin zufrieden.Aus Neugier bestellte ich diesen A400 und stellte fest, dass der (als er endlich vermutlich direkt aus Japan ankam) ein bisschen Gummi am Griff hat. Für mich keine Erhöhung des Gebrauchswertes.
