Works PERFECTLY with 4K 120 Hz
This HDMI to DisplayPort adapter works perfectly to allow me to send 4K 120Hz from my PC to my TV as a third monitor. Attached is the NVIDIA Control Panel setting that I use, but it has worked in every setting that I have tested thus far. Great build quality. I cannot get VRR to work with it, but I would not even ding a star for that (plus, the item description does not claim that it can do VRR). This item saved me from having to figure out how to split the one HDMI output on my RTX 4090.

Works great on my Mac Studio
I had been using an Anker HDMI 4k USB-C connector with my Mac Studio for a year or so and it was getting really hot and the screen would lose connection for a few seconds at a time. I figured it needed replacing and saw the Cal-Digit (I've used their Thunderbolt hubs in the past) option with 8K support. I don't have an 8K monitor but figured I *might* someday..! Works great, screen actually looks clearer to me, so perhaps the Anker 4K was forcing me into a lower refresh rate than I had expected and never noticed. Either way, it works perfect to run at 4K/60 on my Dell monitor, and is not getting as hot as the Anker was. Solid option, much higher quality than the $10 random company adapters, and on-part with (if not better) than the Anker option.

4k/120, although sadly no VRR in Linux.
I'm one of the (un)lucky ones with a modern AMD video card and a TV that only supports HDMI. The TV is a 4k/120 TV with variable refresh rate (VRR), which works great in Windows... and not so much in Linux thanks to the HDMI Forum's decision to not allow HDMI 2.1 support in open source drivers and firmware.Reading online, it appeared as though this adapter might work for me, but when I contacted CalDigit through their subreddit, they weren't sure if it would work or not. Unfortunately, VRR didn't work. To be fair, they don't claim it should work - hence why no stars are marked off for this, and they went above and beyond with their support. Still, if you don't need VRR, this worked like a charm for me - full 10-bit video 4k/120 Hz.

FINALLY! ONE THAT WORKS!
I am using a 2080ti graphics card and since they only have HDMI 2.0 it only supports up to 4k @ 60hz, I couldnt get it's full potential. I play on an LG C9 OLED which have 4 HDMI 2.1 ports, so it's more than capable. I tried other DP to HDMI converters with bad results. Popping audio, dropped video, cutting out completely. This adapter displays full 4K 10 bit with HDR and even VRR seems to work just fine. No BS just plug in, set your settings, and Rock & Roll. Just make sure you have a quality HDMI 2.1 cable and display that can handle it and you're good.If your looking for one, this is it.

Useless, doesn't actually work
My TV won't show a picture from this adapter if it's set to a resolution higher than 1080p. No HDR either. Same HDMI cable works fine for other devices.

Expensive but high quality
Very expensive but seems like the build quality is excellent

Thankful this product exists
A bit of a godsend for me, given my rather embarrassing situation. Spent a good deal of time unplugging and plugging in my graphics card, doing upgrades to my PC. Last instance of plugging in the HDMI cord, boom, bent the HDMI receivers. Did some research and found that I could use a Display Port to HDMI adapter to regain use of the graphics card. Ran into the problem of not quite finding a suitable adapter for what I wanted resolution and refresh rate wise. Then comes along this product. Works instantly, no oddities as of yet. More than able to maintain my current 4k, 120 hertz setup, and play my modern games. The adapter does get somewhat warm, but certainly not hot. Good price for the product, given the value of being able to use it rather than taking my graphics card to a professional for a risky repair to a modern graphics card. I will update this review if anything becomes amiss or is substantial enough to inform others about. For reference, my graphics card is an MSI Radeon 7900xtx (one HDMI 2.1, three DP 2.1).

Works as advertised
This is the only way I can output 4k 120hz HDR in Linux with an AMD gpu. Works very well and it would be a perfect product if it supported VRR.
