If you get good batteries the Fingertip Pulse Oximeter works really great...
The media could not be loaded. If you get good batteries the Fingertip Pulse Oximeter, Blood Oxygen Saturation (SpO2%) and Heart Rate (BPM) Monitor works great...It doesn't come with the two AAA batteries it requires to work. You will have to buy your own.I tried rechargeable batters and it didn't seem to work very well at all, it kept saying low battery.Once I got two new brand name batteries it worked and is working perfectly. It's real simple to read and use and the display can ever change rotational positions with the simple press of the button while in operation or just set it to the position of choice while testing and leave it in that rotational setting and you are ready to go.It has an automatic shut off, simply take the finger out of the device and let it do it's thing - it tells you the finger has been removed and starts on an automatic shutdown which takes place about 10 seconds after you pull your finger out of the device.Very nice looking, very professional looking.the display is easy to read. very useful and easy to see your pulse rate (BPM) and your O2 (Oxygen) level. Two thumbs (or one finger and/or thumb in this case) for this very nice medical device.I got a bag to put it in to protect it, which it did not come with and would be really nice if it did.The included lanyard is flimbsy but for the time being seems to be working O.K.I would definitely recommend this cute and adorable little device.Good day & God Bless...Randall M. Light Weight, Easy to Use, Not Made for NiMH rechargeable batteries
The Fingertip pulse oximeter measures the level of oxygen in your blood, and your pulse. It comes with a tiny string, but no case, and no batteries. I use Eneloop AA or AAA rechargeable batteries in almost everything I own, as they don't leak, and are economical and environmentally sound. They have a slightly lower voltage than alkaline batteries, and so when placing fully charged Eneloop batteries in the pulse oximiter, the unit shows the battery as only 2/3 full. It still works, though. This unit has a rotatable display, but it doesn't auto-sense the orientation like other pulse oximeters I've used. I hope that this one lasts longer than the last two!

Accurate
I tried this at my doctors office right after they used their meter. It read the same. It is very accurate. It is very easy to use and understand. I am really happy with this.
