can you use it to boil peanuts?

No. The container is not large enough to use it for that purpose. Boil them with kosher salt the use the pickle salt as an accent. You won't lose the flavor that way.

How does it taste in beer?

Sorry never tried it in beer. I wanted it for my popcorn, But it was a little to coarse for popcorn.

Really??

I realized this was a small amount but when I actually received it, I had to laugh....really miniscule. And the flavor is just so-so....not a very strong pickle flavor. Disappointing and definitely NOT worth the money.
