Save money.
Bought these in conjunction with cams from the same seller. I only needed one but some spare will be handy when any springs break in future. Even buying 6 is cheaper than a new handle assembly.Fairly easy to fit but a suitable external circlip plier is essential for both safety and convenience. There are different size springs but these are correct for my internal door handles. A bit fiddly to fit and I initially thought the spring was too thick. However, a bit of perseverence and three hands paid off! What an excellent idea having parts available to repair rather than replace.

Perfect for the job
When my door handle malfunctioned I was told just buy another one but I took it apart and could see it was one of the springs had broken so put that on Amazon and straight away up they come, so now I’ve fitted the new spring put plenty of grease on the mechanism and it’s now the best door gear in my house.

No more replacing door handles
Yet another door handle went in the house. In the past ive replaced entire handles (if i can find a match). And ended up with slightly odd handles. Or the holes didnt line up. Now ive tried this ill not go back. Just remove the handle from door. Take off the circlip. Replace spring. Put new circlip on. Job done!

Good set to fix the handle, but missing the limiting blades.
A good set to recover an otherwise a throwaway good brass handle. The only thing which is missing is the handle travel limitter, blade, for completeness, which is hard to get, especially for the privacy type lock handles.

A lot cheaper than replacing handles
I didn’t know replacement springs were available until I looked online. Apparently there are different ones, two coils and two and a half coils so best to check one of your unbroken ones before ordering.Very pleased.
