Designed by custom knifemaker, Les George, and premium-built by Zero Tolerance, the cleanly built ZT 0920 is a powerful folding knife skillfully crafted in the USA. Constructed for strength, durability and optimal performance, it’s the ideal knife for any outdoor activity, household task, slicing or the gentleman’s everyday carry. Regarded as a “super steel,” the CPM 20 CV stainless steel blade with a scooped spine, top swedge and slight recurve for cutting versatility offer outstanding edge holding capability and corrosion resistance. Completely 3D machined titanium handles with bead-blasted finish allow the knife to be very strong but very comfortable in user’s hands. The 0920 is sleek with bronze-anodized aluminum tube spacers and bronze-anodized bent titanium reversible pocketclip for tip-up carry. The KVT ball-bearing system is remarkably fast for manual opening with the built-in flipper. A titanium frame lock with hardened steel lockbar insert secures the blade open during use.

Beefy titanium bliss
I've started collecting knives not as a hobby but for utilitarian purposes. I'll never have more than 10-12 flippers and I've tried to go broad in term of supporting various knife companies like ZT, Ontario, Spyderco, Cold Steel, Ruike Benchmade. Only one company do I have multiple knives in the flipper category and it's Zero Tolerance. I stand by the company, having about 6 in the collection mostly purchased brand new. This particular knife is a real gem. Fit finish blade geometry blade steel looks. Negatives are few. You have a break in period. Not the usual material break in but a user break in. Took about 3-4 days to figure out how to operate this thing properly. It's more of a pull back on the flipper rather than straight down. Your finger has to be dead center because the detent while consistent is finicky. You cannot squeeze the knife near the frame locking mechanism or you'll get to much resistance. So once you get the hang of it the knife then works flawlessly. It's a beefy monster with a murderous looking blade. I wanted a lot of titanium and I got it. All in all happy with the purchase but be willing to put a little extra time in on deploying technique .

the 0920 is a great knife. I actually own 3 ZT KVT flipper ...
This is a ZT 0920 which is the knife in the picture. So just be aware that it is not a 0909 if that is what you're looking for!Having said that, the 0920 is a great knife. I actually own 3 ZT KVT flipper knives and they have all been great. The 0920 in particular is relatively light given its size. The opening action has the expected ZT force to overcome meaning that it takes a little bit more finger pressure on the flipper than you might expect but in my book this is a good thing, less chance of it partially opening when you don't want it. The fit and finish is superb with the knife perfectly centered between the scales when closed and positively locked when open with no wiggle (unlike my one Spyderco flipper!). The blade itself is Every Day Carry sharp, meaning that it will cut things and hold its edge but its not razor sharp. Lastly, I'm not an American only guy but the fact that this is made in the USA at the same price as other premium mass market knives that are made in China is a plus.

Superb design. Don’t wait!
Hello all, tech geek here.I am starting off by stating that this knife is of great qaulity and design. If you are thinking of adding a beautiful knife to your collection, do so. Nonetheless, I have used this knife for daily task such as food prep, box cutting and most important, protection. I have had many comments on this blade, all with praise. I love to collect with my son and he has learned so much. How a good knife should feel in the hand. From the weight to the density of the blade. I have taught him the Beauty of a good product. The steel is a high abrasion CPM 20v with a stone wash finish. It weighs in at 5.4 ounces. A hefty knife for sure but that is always a good thing. You don’t want a kinfe coming out of your palm. The 0920 has awesome palm to hand ratio. This blade will add years of happiness to your collection. Don’t think about getting this blade. Get it! You or your loved one will be pleased. Tech geek out.

This knife is my favorite ZT knife and I own about 8 of them
This knife is my favorite ZT knife and I own about 8 of them. It is definitely a larger size knife but is quite light for its size. It fits perfectly in hand and the textured scales offer great grip. The flipping action is second to none and the lockup is super solid. It's quite a simple knife like most ZT knives, but that's what makes it so perfect.Blade was razor sharp. I love the shape of the blade as well. It carries smaller than it is due to it's more narrow profile and light titanium design. I highly recommend this knife. I personally own around 100 high quality knives and this is in my top 10 in all around performance,If you want a larger knife and like the blade profile, you can't beat the quality.

ZT Gem...one for the long-term collection!
If you're a knife junkie like me, you won't be relying on an Amazon review for this knife. You'll have already scoured YouTube for vids and knife forums for opinions on the ZT 0920. ...and you'll already know......that this one is a ZT GEM! Based on Les George's Harpy (one pre-owned authentic Harpy currently for sale at Arizona Custom Knives for $1,000!), this ZT clone is a home run for Zero Tolerance. Larger but lightweight; fantastic, premium CPM-20CV steel; incredibly smooth action given the blade weight and KVT bearings; gorgeous design; and, most importantly, a beautiful and functional top swedge, recurve blade. Les George written all over it!Well done, ZT! ...and Les!

One of the best ZTs!!
This zt 0920 les George is by far one of the best knives for 2017.Just let me say right off the start this knife is amazing outstanding and one of the best in my collection. The ergonomics are great and the total weight of the knife is incredibly good for the size.It is large but for my hands it is perfect.Blade comes out with authority milling is beautiful standoffs make it pop and the pocket clip when squeezing handle feels like its not there. Next to other knives i own Hinderer xm 18 3.5 and 3inch and Spyderco milli ti and ZT sinchavich. Do yourself a favor buy this knife!!

ZT at its finest (for a dude with big hands)
Beautiful folder. Not necessarily EDC with its murdery look but I've found excuses to use it none the less (probably better off as a collector piece but I can't help myself with some blades). Usual ZT break-in. Seems best suited for bigger hands, which I have, probably why I carry it as often as I do. The titanium milled grip is an absolute pleasure both functionally and aesthetically.
