Way Better than Expected
I bought this with low expectations. I was looking for an inexpensive alternative to Victron’s SmartShunt. This one seemed to fit the bill. Admittedly, it’s installation instructions were lacking and I had to look on YouTube to get me started. However, once I got it installed it’s has worked great. I have only been using it for about two weeks, so I will need to update this review if anything changes, but so far so good.I’m contemplating purchasing another one for my other solar system. One thing to remember is it is probably best to update the percent SOC after battery is charged to 100%.Plus:1. Accurate2. Strong Bluetooth signal, able to connect over 20 feet away.3. Easy basic to read screen4. Decent app that is also easy to readCons:1. Not hard, but not easy to install2. Need enough space to install the three components

Works great for me!
Version: 100A BluetoothOther than instructions that are a little hard to follow, this device works great. Simply install the shunt in-line with the battery (-) terminal, connect Vsens to battery (+), and connect the display cable. On the display, set the amp-hour rating of the battery and most features will work. It’ll take a couple of full-charge cycles to self-calibrate.Measurement comparison to my brand-name DMM show fairly good correlation, but calibration can be adjusted in the setup menu. The iOS App does a pretty good job of duplicating the display module wirelessly, seems to work up to 20 feet away (the measurement module should be mounted so it’s signal isn’t blocked by metal).Overall, the performance is great in the price range. It gives a good overall status of my off-grid power system’s battery state. It showed when I had a low solar output power that turned out to be leaves that collected on the panels.

Works well and seems to be accurate.
Love the BT app so I could mount the display at the rear of my vehicle. Only hiccup is the standby timer. I set it for 5 seconds and it goes to sleep however it wakes up on it own after one second. It was working normally until I mounted it. Tried resetting it but no help. Doesn't have much of a draw but I'll just unplug it until I need it.

Great product. Works as listed, extra bells and whistles.
Most of the instructions were clear. Easy to install. Connection to cell phone was easy. Graphs and controls are really fun.

Does not work as advertised
I bought this to make my life easier when monitoring battery charge. I set it up according to instructions...which are challenging to figure out. Good luck finding online support. This unit does not measure battery level. It also does not monitor low output currents. 0.5-2 amps don't even register. You can set the battery capacity and the charge percentage, and it will stay like that forever.I want to like this unit, and the Bluetooth function is quite good. It reads voltage well, but current is itratic.I installed it without external power and without a relay. Maybe that would help, but the instructions don't explain much.

Works OK, a few fatal flaws
Used this for a 48v nominal / 60v max lifepo4 setup. It totalizes amp draw, and does update the fuel gauge accurately. Reverse and forward current are monitored and it can self power. The cons:It does not update the life remaining based on battery chemistry settings (there are none). So you must always manually set the fuel gauge. To fix this, they must offer an option to update the fuel gauge based on its own totalizer or on the voltage. This requires an additional configuration option for how-many-in-series and chemistry. There is also a bug with the time display after the unit has been on for a few weeks.Besides these two issues, the unit works fine and is easy to use.Update after a couple months of use:The unit's power meter has begun giving false and jumping readings for current, so is now useless. Reducing to one star review.

glad I purchased this one
Lots of good information with this shunt. I was able to figure out my 150ah batteries only are good for 110 ah. With Lifepo4 batteries its really hard without shunt to know exactly how much charge you have when its in middle of charge, thats where the shunt is super handy. I can get signal couple hundred feet away from meter which is located in attached garage. I can literally sit in my back yard and check meter with app on my phone.

If there is a problem, suspect the shunt.
Good system design, poor implementation. Loved the features, especially bluetooth. First one is monitoring my RV 12 volt coach battery, works fine. Second one for a 24 volt to 120 VAC inverter system was DOA and finally figured out the problem was the circuitry on the shunt. YES, there is some electronics bonded to the shunt. Replacement worked for about three months until my inverter wouldn't start up. Had about 8 volts output presented by the batteries even though the each battery was fine. Suspected the shunt. Replaced the DROK with a Victron SmartShunt, back in business.
