This is my second Instant Pot and the functions are all pretty much the same even though this is newer and is a 9-in-1 versus the older 7-in-1. But the metal piece that goes up when pressure is high doesn't work as well in this model. It doesn't always drop down by itself when all the pressure has released. Even though all the pressure is out after releasing it the valve will stay up sometimes. Not a big issue once you understand what's happening but the first time I used this machine I thought it was defective (the valve kind of is defective I guess). But cooks well.

My first ever insta pot working very well, easy to use and clean. Use often to make bone broth especially during winter time. Saves much time when compared to the traditional ways, achieving same result and taste. Also cooked other foods, they all come out perfectly, especially some tough meat roasts.
