Does it's job of charging 12 V battery using even a 24 v panel. Good for off grid type solar systems in remote places such as farms. In urban areas with almost 24x7 power supply, for grid tie solar systems, wherein one may wish to charge a small in house inverter battery, this mppt type charger is not essential.This is excellent for large power charging ... And good for independently working off grid systems which require heavy charging . Adjustable settings for the various charging phases (versatile).Bought it for emergency connection in case of large power disruptions. To be used by disconnecting a single rooftop 24 v 500 watt panel which otherwise normally is used in series to charge a standard grid tie inverter . But when grid fails, the solar system goes waste ! Only the internal inverter system is then useful. To power this inverter system is this Asha power's use for me .. and that itself is only once a while .Hope it lasts long... And keeps up to its promise, even when tested only once a while..Thanks !
