a good oxymoron: flexibly rigid
I've been playing with the standard yellow tortex for a while. it let's me pick individual notes pretty well w/o bending too much. but when I strum, i have a heavy-handed strum, the regular yellow tortex feel like i'm going to pull the strings off the guitar. BUT with these FLEX yellow tortex, i still get the firmness of the regular yellow ones but i get more forgiveness during my strums. a good in-between thickness for heavy-handed strummers who need to pick some melody lines or solos, too.

It's a great pick
I'm a huge fan of the standard Tortex .88 (Green) picks, so I decided to try these. Honestly, I can tell no difference between these and the standard (Green) picks. I have played them side by side for months now, and they perform exactly the same. So I guess the major difference is the color. At any rate, either pick is a great choice.

Giving nylon a run for it's money
I have been using .60 nylon picks for years, just wanted to try something different. I also got some thin polycarbonate gel picks (L) and they are good, but I like the flex better. I chose the .50mm size, and I feel it is just about the same flexibility as my nylon .60mmThey sound slightly different than nylon picks, but as compared with a polycarbonate gel or a celluloid fender thin, they are more similar to the nylon.Nylon picks get... "fuzzy" around the edge and distort as you use them. If these don't do that, I may have to convert. Only time will tell. But I'm impressed for now so 5 stars.

Good pick for Tortex tone and more forgiving
Quite good pick. Really is more flexible, more forgiving, than the standard .60 Tortex pick and maintains a similar dark tone. Only problem I have is anatomical. These picks are slightly larger than say the Dunlop Gator Grips and therefore I can’t comfortably tuck one into the first joint of my finger without too much pick protruding. Just means better technique required on my part.

Required drilling holes but sounds & feels great
I (used to) play star picks and the .60 star pick flexes significantly more than this .60. This 60 seems stiffer in-hand than the standard tortex 60 as well, but the sound quality this flex pick creates is impressive.Update, the sound quality and feeling of this pick convinced me to drill a few holes through them, grip is great now. Great pick for fast picking and strumming. I'm sold.

Dunlop/Tortex does it again!
I've tried this and the .88 Tortex Flex, and I've ended up liking the .88's better but this is still a fantastic pick. It's just a little bit too thin for my comfort (I play a 12-string acoustic and could use a tiny bit more resistance), but if you're looking to try them out for a different sound/feel/whatever, you can't go wrong. Doesn't fly out of your hand/from between your fingers, holds up great to repeated playing (it's Tortex, of course it does!), and is a great way to try something different without buying a whole new guitar, as fun as that might be.

My favorite thus far.
I've been on a mission trying almost any type of pick I can find (in standard shape). I like these the best. The Ultras from dunlop don't wear as much, it is true. Heredim's give you that nice Edge chime when turned upside down. But these have the perfect balance between snap and "memory" as well as lasting longer than most others. It just feels best when I play them, lead and rhythm. So much so that I ordered a lot.

Nice pick
I bought 0.6 and 0.88 to compare and I like 0.88 more (dreadnought, LT strings). No pick/string sound - just fundamental guitar sound, plus a little more control (still pretty flexible). I don't find it slippery, but I don't play long enough to get my fingers sweaty. It appears to keep shape well and to last (played only a week). I also like the graphics and the color - nice to look at and easy to find.

My pick of picks
Recently moved on to yellow Dunlops but they were a little too stiff when picking faster parts. This is a perfect middle ground between Orange and Yellow Dunlops regulars. My choice from now on definitely.

A 0.50 pick that is rigid but flexible
My Dunlop nylon 0.46mm ones are just too soft and the 0.53 just a tad too hard so I thought I'd try the flex 0.50.so far they are proving to be the perfect in between but they are quite slippy. I tried some well known sticky stuff on the pick and now I am well pleased.

Stiff but Forgiving
As my now favorite pick these have the stiffness clarity and texture that tortex are renowned for but are that little bit more flexible so if like me you use a mixture of strumming, power chords and long lead runs these are great. However when choosing a gauge you may want to go up a notch to what you usually use, as the extra flexibility can feel a bit strange at first, particularly if you're doing lots of Slashesque lead licks.

Does the job
I play down in drop A and these plecs are perfect for the style I play. Plenty of contact and still a lot of string feel. Great for pinched harmonics too. Now only if the carpet monster wouldn't keep stealing them off me, I wouldn't have to keep buying them in bulk :)
