Great effort which could have been much better structured.
Overall, great effort, however, it largely focuses on providing behind the scenes stories and is strewn with facts (executives and hotel names etc.) throughout which is good but sometimes gets overbearing and seems insignificant at times in the overall context and larger scheme of things. Further, the choice of a hybrid structure (part biography and part A vs B) impacts the structure, flow and chronological narrative on events as is evident from the lack of a TOC at the beginning. I personally found it much better to read A vs B series first for its longitudinal, comparative and overarching views on the greatest rivalry in commercial aviation told in a structured, chronological & cogent manner from a business strategy perspective with deep analysis and then attempting this one in conjunction for picking up additional pieces of the story (especially the John Leahy bio part) for the complete 360 degree aerial view.

Very interesting book!
At first as I began reading, I thought it would be about the science of the planes. I soon realized it was the politics behind both companies. I really started enjoying this book and pretty soon I couldn't wait to continue. It was fairly balanced between Airbus and boeing, which also kept my interest even though it changed between the two quickly. As an aviation enthusiast I would recommend this book to any one!

A good try about a lot more than what time suggests
The book is ok, but it would have tremendously benefited from a second write as it's quite messy and much more than about John Leahy.I do think it's unfinished, it's a bit of a shame. There's also a lot of repeat that should have been cleaned.

Atual e elucidativo
Altamente recomendado!
