This is very good tape. Vendor has excellent pricing , and was perfectly reasonable with delivery date.Am going to take a closer look at what their store has to offer , as they are a reliable provider.

I bought this foil tape to connect pipe insulation that I added to my basement. It's easy to cut and is durable.

Used this to seal a number of gaps and holes in my HVAC plenum and duct system. It works well. A few weeks in and everything seems to be holding securely and my temperature measurements at the supply air registers suggest that system efficiency has improved measurably. Every homeowner with a forced-air system should get a roll of sealing tape like this and go hunting for leaks. Even with equipment and ducts in the conditioned envelope, getting more air to the rooms where you want it, and less air randomly leaking into an already well-cooled basement or insulated crawlspace, will improve comfort and efficiency. And if any of your equipment or ductwork is in an unconditioned space, sealing up leaks there is a no-brainer.This foil tape has a thin paper backing to protect the sticky side which you have to peel off when you use the tape. This is a bit fiddly to use but I believe this is very common in this type of product. The tape cuts and tears easily enough to get the size pieces you need without being so weak that it tears inadvertently or fails.

Sticks to metal and wood great. Easy to peel and use. Thicker than any other aluminum tape I've used, and very durable. Not bad for the price considering the width and thickness of this tape and adhesive.

There are kinds of foil tapes available, some good, some not so good, some awful. This is very good. You get what you pay for.

I'm using this to seal around openings on my HVAC unit located in the garage and wow does it adhere to the unit. No air leakage whatsoever. With a little care I can even remove the panel to change the filter and reseal with the same piece multi times. It will tear though without much effort to need to be careful if you don't want to throw it away and start over. Definitely would recommend.

I was applying this to a foil backed insulation. I should have used a heat gun to help seal the tape. After 6 months the tape has started separating. I used a heat gun hoping to reseal the outer layers. Just hoping the inner layers of insulation have stayed sealed.

A contractor brought this exact tape to my home and I haven't looked back since. Good and dependable for work related to the attic/HVAC. Thanks.
