This is for the most part a good framing book with many tips for the do it yourself guy or gal. It may be a little slow or dull for someone already skilled in framing but who knows you might learn something also. It is outstanding in giving the basics for first time learners or beginners in learning how to frame in floors, walls and roofs. There are a lot of framing tips and good instruction on how to frame in this book, I enjoyed it and I was able to use some of the author's ideas and tips while framing in a floor and wall last month so it was worth the money for me to buy this book for it saved me some time and stress on a remodel project. I would recommend this book to others.
