Works great!!
Love this! Life saver if you have goats who like to kick while milking, I've tried it at the ankles and also above the knees, they both work but putting it above the knees works best for us. No more hooves in our milk or spills!

Escape goat > Problem solved!
Sturdy and effective!I chose these over other designs because the ankle size doesn't open and close. Size it to your goat's cannon bone and it stays put! It's not a tea party putting them on, but what a simple and cheap solution to try before spending much more time and money on fencing (wood, wire, voltage). So many uses! Keep goats from escaping being a main one! Especially when seperating kids from their mom. Or how about seperating a buck from the does. Not sure if that would be healthy long term (and they are not padded, so comfort could be an issue). Not a problem around here, but others have mentioned using it for kicking milkers. I bought one and I want MORE!!! But I probably don't need more. I would sell these!

It let me enjoy, milking my goats!!
The durability looks great...should last for a LONG time!! It stopped the goat from planting her hoof into the pail. I just recently had back surgery at the end of January, and then my goat kidded a month later. Bending over and fighting a goat to prevent mastitis, by milking her was starting to affect my health...which made the chore even harder.Because of this tool, I can now milk her again, WITHOUT problems. Tonight was the first time I used it, and it was kinda comical watching the goat, as she realized, she couldn't kick/put her foot into the bucket. She then sat there like a good girl, and let me finish milking. She only has a single buckling, and he only will nurse on one side, so I have to milk her on the side he doesn't nurse from.I actually love milking goats, and am thankful that I got this quickly! Oh, I have Nigerian Dwarfs as well, and it works like a charm on the NDs as well!
