The screws will rust and honestly they just don't look good because they'll add indents to the hood messing up the flush of it. Use 3m tape and maybe a bit of super glue (be careful super glue can mess up your paint) and it'll be perfectly fine and look gorgeous. I wish I had saw a review like this before drilling. I now only use the 3m tape and I'm perfectly fine

There was a few minor scratches, but I had intended to paint them flat black anyway. They come with double double sided tape, but I don't trust the tape when it gets warm, it looses adhesion. I fabricated underwood brackets and secured the vents with screws. The vents do have a little flexibility ,so they bend to a slight curve.

Got these originally to install on a Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo as that car's only downside is the lack of ability to release engine cage heat which during the summer can cause heat soak.Plastic is thinner than would be preferred. Fortunately I found some aircraft aluminum aftermarket higher grade ones at the junkyard and these now just sit. I will probably resell them on marketplace at a loss.personally if you're going to do all the work in cutting your hood, while these may work, In the long-term you're probably better off spending a little bit more money on some non-plastic ones. I can't see with the manufacturing of these any sort of longitivity of life for them.

I think they look like a nice edition to my car. Wish they were a littpe bigger but can tell they were 3d printed so any bigger and cost woupd probably syart to go up significantly. Wouldn't recommend just using the double sided tape to hold these down. I used an all-weather epoxy for insurance. Don't worry about there not being a cutout template to trace where you cut. Just turn the pieces upside down and mirror them wherever you want (left is right and right is left when upside down), sharpie your outline and cut a quarter inch inside your outline 🤝

Good product

Product is decent quality, come as raw plastic so you need to prep and paint them. Supplied tape is not strong, recommend using 3m super strength tape. Screws that came with it are cheap, I choose not to use screws for a cleaner look, you may need to heat them some to form them to the shape of your hood. Would have given 5 stars if I didn't have to heat form and if they came with instructions and templates.

I like the product have used a couple of them on our race cars order these awhile ago and put on the shelf for an upcoming build open them today to start cutting on the hood and realized they're both the same side you can see the photo the angles are both facing the same way normally one faces driver side one faces passenger. Moral of the story open the product as soon as you get it.
