Coco-Chan's Kimono

This is a beautifully illustrated book and a very sweet story about a young girl learning about her garden. I purchased this for three nieces ages 4,5 and 6. The author is a quilter and a gardener,as I am and I enjoyed how she tied making a kimona into the beauty of a garden. Also it will be fun for the girls to learn how to make a paper kimona from the pattern that is included in the book. It made me want to make kimona's for each of them. Just found a new pattern for little girls of a kimona inspired dress made by a quilting fabric company! Can't wait to make these and include the book for one of their Christmas gifts!Patrica MorenoCambria, California

I love this book. I have been garnering all of Kumiko Sudos' quilt books and flower creation books. Her creativity is right down my line. I put theFabled Flowers fabric on my baby quilts and they are really a hit. I am now looking for any other storybooks by her.

Great story and colorful pictures. I wish the font was a little different as it was a little difficult to read.

Great little story with really instructions to make a paper (oirgami) kimono. Makes a nice card. Enjoy the colors throughout the book. Just fun.

Love this sweet story book. I read it to my art students to inspire them as they decorate an origami kimono.
