Smooth lid opening, sturdy pedal. It’s a bit light and wobbles when empty but not an issue when it’s starts filling up

Attractive bin but lid is sturdy and cracked in transit
Very disappointed as product arrived damaged but we didn’t spot it until we opened box in France. Lid is not sturdy and corner has broken off and there is split across back of lid which we will need to stick . Don’t want hassle of carting it back to UK and in any event we would be beyond the return date. Our fault for not checking it before we left but thought lid would have been sturdier and given better protection in box
