I use these to plug unused ports.Some systems have a second ethernet port, some routers have a rj45 console serial port.Both will cause issues if an ethernet cable is accidentally plugged in and these plugs are the solution

Do you really care your plugs are silver and match your silver unifi gear? I don't! These are significantly cheaper than the super expensive ones from Ubiquity. They work exactly the same but you get way more in the packaging. Really these work just fine.

Aside from the wrong item description (-1 star). These are good sillicoln dust covers for LC connectors. They have a good handle for insersion and removal. They are soft silicoln so they don't scratch the fiber ends. Overall good. Would give the star back if I didn't have to search so hard to find them. (Correct the name, please)
