Good valve - easy to open and close.
Valve works good so far. Above ground pool did not include a shutoff valve where the two water intake hoses come out of the pool and join going in to the strainer basket of the filter. There was no way to clean the basket without water rushing out. Installed this balance and now it’s a simple matter to close this valve and the corresponding valve on the outflow and then open the basket without losing a lot of water.

Too tight. Hard to get completely on. It takes some real strength just to get a pool part on so 4 stars otherwise it's good.
