Great SCX24 Upgrade for crawling!
I have run a lot of motors like the PN racing, Furitek, etc. This Surpass 1400kv is a monster on 3s. I am running a Furitek Lizard and a 450 3S battery. The speed is a hair less than stock, but the torque and slow crawl are amazing. I printed the motor mount on my I3 with ASA Filament. The mount is great. I am also using a Mofo racing 18t pinion gear with stock pitch. It is super quiet and smooth. Get it, you will not be sorry. It performs about the same as the Furitek 1400kv Komodo motor. Happy Crawling...

Great, but not made for SCX24 - go for the Furitek motor.
Used in conjunction with gamyrc’s motor Mount off shapeways and some bits from Hot Racing and an ESC from Furitek to upgrade my SCX24 C10. Lost a little too speed, but gained a lot of torque and very very fine slow speed for better crawling control. Works well. This motor looks freaking cool, but it is open to the elements and designed for airplanes, which isn’t so great for crawling. Furitek offers a better suited motor for I believe the same or better performance, designed for the SCX24.

Nice looking motor
Overall like this motor. Wish it didn’t have the shaft coming out the other end. Love the bolt on prop adapter and shaft.

Perfect for SCX24
I ordered 2 of these to upgrade our SCX24's. Lots of torque, and paired with a Hobbywing ESC, and a tuner card, gives a much better crawling experience over stock. You have to get a mount from Shapeways, or you can download it from Thingiverse. Some guy copied the Shapeways version, and put the .stl out on Thingiverse. Not the right way to do it, but whatever.

Used in an SCX24 mod
I modified a mini Axial SCX24 crawler with this little guy and it's unstoppable! More power than it needs. It will climb anything until it flips over backwards and never slow down. I used a hobbywing 18 amp esc to power it.

Seems like a great motor for the scx24
It's a little loud but works great in my scx24

Solid performer
Evaluated this motor on a static thrust tower using a 3S, 1.8 amp/hr battery, 7x4 Master Airscrew G/F series propeller, and an Align 25 amp controller. Achieved 91 watts from 11.5 volts measured while running, 7.4 amp draw, 11, 250 rpm, which produced 17.35 ounces of static thrust. My O-1 Bird Dog weighs 18 ounces RTF, so fun times are had.

Awesome motor upgrade for Scx24 crawler
Who would have thought this motor can power a little rock crawler. Mounted this brushless motor to an axial scx24 and its night and day from stock. Worth every penny. I picked up 4 for future projects.

Smooth and powerful, works great as a replacement for a flitetest "B" motor

Not very powerful overpriced and the connectors broke not even powerful enough to fly a flite test mighty mini

Just what I needed to finish my project. Came in decent time despite what’s going on in the world right now.

Works great

Not sure what type of rc aircraft you could fly with this miniature motor? Definitely not my volantex asw28 sailplane
