Great replacement!
I was replacing the right side, but the end cap was broken. So I used the left end cap, and it was perfect. You need a 1/16 hex driver to secure the right side bolt to handle, that's not included. Everything else is great.

Fit Perfect
These were a perfect fit for my Samsung freezer door handle. I didn't want to replace the whole handle so was very pleased to find these parts. Very easy to replace too.

Does Not Fit RFG298
This part is not improved. Has plastic end caps that are prone to popping off and trying to mount left side impossible. The set screw on right side is not positioned to get full access to. Waste of time and money. Do your research on available parts that are guaranteed for the RFG298. This one will have to be modified in order to work which means it probably will not last. Back it goes.

Worked, fit not exact, not enough clearance for the end cap when handle is used. First one I got had the set screw seized in the bracket, had to return for another.

Easy Repair at low cost
When my Samsung freezer handle broke I thought I would need to call a repairman or get a new unit. At best I was sure I’d need a new handle. I was pleasantly surprised when I came across this repair kit. The whole repair took me five minutes and the handle is as good as new. You will need a very small hex wrench and a Phillip’s head screwdriver. That’s it. Strongly recommend.
