Broken Fae (Ruthless Boys of the Zodiac) Paperback – February 16, 2022

Why do I always have to take a break from these series at the worst time!? The ending is a truly devastating cliffhanger. The spicy scenes are beyond hot, and I could not BELIEVE the family plot twist(s).

PNR/Fantasy RH with multiple supe types plus magic. Multi-POV. Mystery and suspense. Academy/University setting. Plenty of angst but without bully or E2L. And while there's angst and plenty of gut-twisting, heart-wrenching moments, there are so many moments which had me LOL’ng or my heart soared. It's really brilliantly done.Broken Fae is Book 4 (of planned 5 for the Ruthless Boys of Zodiac series) and picks up right from where the last book ends, and we see how Elise, Leon, Dante, Ryder, and Gabriel are holding up after the stars gifted Elise with an Elysian mate who already holds a piece of her heart. I was instantly reminded of that crushing moment at the end of the last book where Elise is both overjoyed and utterly devastated.Elise - “I still didn’t know what else this meant, but I did know one thing. My feelings for the other kings hadn’t been diminished by my mate bond to Leon. And if I could have this with one of them then I intended to win them all back to me.” ... “All I knew for sure was that before we’d been mated, I’d held a claim on all four of them and it had felt so undeniably right that it was almost impossible for me to accept that it was wrong now.”The cure to our heartache? LEON + this book 🦁💜I don’t think that I have ever loved every single H within a RH as equally as I have the Hs in this series. They are so layered and deep and broken and heart-warming -- just EVERYTHING! But Leon gets book boyfriend MVP in this one. As much as he was soothing Elise, giving her all of his love (and all the Os!) and being the best mate ever, I felt like he was also doing his best to soothe my reader's heart and soul as well. In all of his moments with the other guys, he shows SO MUCH HEART and he goes above-and-beyond in hopes of bringing them back together, for his own heart as well as Elise’s. Leon was the absolute BEST and was my anchor through this book. Not to be outshined, the others definitely work their way back to being my equal favorites again, with some heart-stopping and heart-overflowing moments. Over the series, the Hs develop a bromance (platonic) that is seriously GOALS.Leon - “So maybe I’d gotten attached to Elise’s other guys. Maybe I missed hanging out with them all. And maybe it was time I reunited us Avengers style. It was kinda exciting. Tummy flutters and all.”Beyond their internal relationship conflicts and journey to reassemble, there’s A LOT going on on the external front. The mystery continues and gets more dangerous. Certain villains are faced while others are still in the shadows. The mystery, secrets, suspense, action and all of the twists and turns makes this whole series un-put-downable.Knowing that there is only one more book left for this series feels bittersweet, but it already has a top spot in my heart among all-time favorite series that I will read over and over again. 💜💜💜

• 𝑩𝒐𝒐𝒌 𝑹𝒆𝒗𝒊𝒆𝒘 •𝗥𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴: ☆☆☆☆ 4/5This one hit me in my feelings the most; love how some things are finally revealed and seeing some of Orion in this one. The characters relationships between each other are evolving physically and mentally. I'm ready for the story to end though!!

Still pleasantly surprised by this series. I'm loving it so much more than Zodiac Academy. A lot more depth in all the characters, POVs are only from the main six characters, and there's so much action! Like, actual fighting and death and pain. The first half was heartbreaking as it continued what Vicious Fae had started, but thankfully, Leo came to the rescue. Loving the steamy scenes and also the friendships building between the guys. I'm thankful there's only one more book, though, because my heart needs a break soon.

Yeah, I'm pulling a Ryder here! I am totally getting off on the pain my head and heart are going through because these authors love to torment me! Book 4 is continuing the tradition of each book in this series gets better and better!So last time I left off in the review of book three, I was on the edge of a cliff. Book four has me going full Mufasa and hanging by my nails while the authors channel their inner Scar and force another cliffhanger into my paws! They're making it feel like every second that goes by without starting on the final book I'm going to die a gruesome death without knowing if I will get a fearsome fivesome happily ever after! This series is going to give me a heart attack or make my head explode if it gets any more intense! If you are reading this to determine whether you should start this series or not, all I can say is this: WHY ON EARTH ARE YOU READING THIS INSTEAD OF GETTING EVERYTHING YOU EVER WANTED IN A RH SERIES BY STARTING BOOK 1!!!!!! Yeah I guess you could say I kind of like it. And I guess you could say I have five good reasons.1. A sassy, strong, kickass queen vampire (that happens to be a Libra like me)2. The King of the jungle who is ferocious in battle, insatiable in bed, believes in pride, is largely cocky (multiple puns intended) and is lighthearted to outrageously funny throughout the books. #LionsLoveLaughing #EveryoneWantsToBeMindy #TheLionLovesOrion #VampireSandwichesTasteBest3. The Dragon King that has an "electric" personality that loves hard, plays hard and stays...well you get the point.4. The Harpy King that hides from the world but feels totally seen by those he loves. And loves to hate and hates to love all rolled up in a bundle of sexy tattoos and feathery wings with so many super abilities that you can't wait to see how he uses them next.5. The super sexy Serpent King who is as cold blooded as a snake. Literally and figuratively! Scars inside and out that calls to your darkness and hypnotizes you with a single glance or hiss. Yeah, this snake can slither his way right into your heart.Those are my top five reasons followed by the mystery, action, violence, steamy sex and intrigue. Yeah, this is definitely a five star rating!

Does the headliner not say it all. Wait how did I say this to my daughter… hold on let me look at my texts…. WTH just happened…😭😭 omg it was a vision… this book just sank my heart cause me to bleed my feelings and just wants me to just continue reading without breathing. Like who does that!!!Her response’ they’re called the twisted sisters for a reason lolOmg I’m scared now.I got 30 pages leftI’m gonna need painkillers for this ending.Omg the craziness that ended this book.Oh yea spice level is on fire. JSOn to the last book of just rip my heart and stampede on it.

This series is so fun and I love the reverse harem aspect for sure. I love the twisted sisters and how the intertwine worlds throughout their series.

I have fallen in love with this series...hook, line and sinker! I started on this first cuz this series is finished but I am definitely gonna go read Zodiac Academy and Darkmore Penitentiary next!Anyway....love the smut, love the action, the mystery... basically everything. 100/10 would recommend. Can't wait to find out what happens next!

I really really like the relationship in between the five main characters.Elise is the sole Queen of EVERYTHING! Her character is amazing! I am in awe how the authors could balance her with four very different males without loosing or changing to much her personality, but they did it and did it goooodddd!!!!Leon is a precious soul! I loved how he is aching for his best friend in the beginning of the book, how he defends Ryder with Dante or how he organise the perfect Christmas for Elise. All his chapters were so funny and I am more and more in love with his personality!Dante in this book is honest and I loved it. I loved how his friendship with Leon and his efforts with Gabriel and, mostly, Ryder.Gabriel finally quits his solo act and starts a genuine connection with Ryder! All their scenes were so precious and I loved every second of it.Ryder in this book is the one that grew the most. He is the one with the worst past and he lived all his life alone, hangry and sort of afraid. His friendship with Gabriel, his acceptance for the other three boyfriends, he helping Dante and finally his detachment to the Lunar. Thanks to Elise he is realising how family and friends are more important that subordinates. The final scene with Dante and Felix had me sobbing. Changing the Astral Adversaries non was the last step through happiness and he deserves it all.Honourable mention to the chef kiss sex scene in the cabin! OMG! Finally and yes!This book was amazing. Funny, sad, thrilling! It had me laughing my ass off and sobbing! I never want to finish reading ZA and RB world building! I already feel the pain and the emptiness of the aftermath!
