Arsene Lupin, Gentleman Thief

This is a great book! I love the abundance of illustrations, even if not on every page it feels like there are.

Beautiful illustrations! Love this edition!

Beautiful book. I got mine from Barnes and Noble because last time I ordered from Amazon, I ordered a 100 dollar collection of Lord of the Rings and it came damaged because they use no padding. However I still wanted to hop on and give the illustrator props for this book. I've never heard of arsene lupin, so I am glad I am able enjoy them with the illustrated context. Half way through and I love his character equal to or more than Sherlock Holmes.

An elegant, artful, stunning occupant of my bookshelf, this book is a joy to pick up and peruse. The story is whimsical and wonderful, the illustrations the same but more so, and the whole physical package is the reason why Kindle books may be convenient but will never win over the true bibliophile.I love it.There is a companion Sherlock Holmes book with the same delightful standards. I've got a copy on order.
