Fast read, excellent resource!
I just finished reading "Simplified Cybersecurity Sales for MSPs" by Jennifer Bleam - and what a surprise. It's short, surprisingly concise, and a powerful resource that provides valuable insight into cybersecurity sales for managed service providers (MSPs).It's a swift weekend read for the average reader, where you find practical strategies and actionable tips for MSPs to effectively sell cybersecurity services to their customers.I'm not an MSP, but I write content for this space. I found that Jennifer Bleam's expertise shines through as she breaks down complex concepts into easy-to-understand language, making it an essential resource for anyone in the MSP industry. I found a great harvest of keywords and content ideas from her concise approach to a complex sales and marketing process (so many levels to think about.)MSP-pros will find this book is a must-read for managers and sales team members looking to improve their cybersecurity marketing strategies. The author's in-depth knowledge and experience in cybersecurity sales are evident throughout the book, providing readers with a wealth of information and guidance to navigate the intricacies of selling cybersecurity solutions within the MSP landscape. The nitty-gritty.The comprehensive nature of the guide ensures that readers gain a thorough understanding of the various aspects of cybersecurity sales, enabling them to make informed decisions and implement effective sales strategies within their respective MSP businesses. To be absolutely clear, this is not a tutorial on basic sales methodology. Consider this a supplement for people wanting to 'level up' their understanding of the evolving cybersecurity landscape. Bleam dedicates a whole chapter to naming books and sales training programs she's applied to explain how her training has affected her sales methodology in this field. This book is "the step beyond," wherein readers find sharp insights into the latest trends and developments in a specific industry where some generalist rules need finesse and tweaking. Sales activators will gain a broader understanding of what they need to stay ahead in this dynamic marketplace - without the "slimy" fearmongering and irrational, over-aggressive style we see in many industries these days. You don't have to be an MSP for this to be a must read.
A must read for anyone selling tech that touches security (so everyone). In a single-flight-read, Jennifer artfully applies time tested fundamentals to this week's technology sales challenges.By driving customer conversations that help prospects discover and understand security challenges they likely don't know they have, Jennifer's method brings new light to solution selling. With far greater returns than an airline movie, everyone in Managed Services, and anyone in technology sales should read this book.

There's no such thing as perfect security but Jennifer gives hope for real risk management.
What I appreciated most about Jennifer's book was the clarity around risk management. As a cybersecurity CEO I'm often asked about how to *prevent* breaches and information security incidents. In that moment, I have to explain that there's no such thing as a bulletproof company, and what we do over time is reduce risk, not perfectly prevent incidents.Jennifer is so clear and incisive about the difference and why it matters to SMBs. Thank you for your clear explanations and wisdom, and keep the books coming!

A standard book on sales would be better.
This book is really short so you would expect it to be a very direct and to the point book; it is not. I would recommend a standard well rated book on sales over this. It feels like it’s written by a basic sales person who has limited knowledge of cybersecurity. She seems like she has good intentions, but this feels like just another book to capitalize on a popular business term “cybersecurity”. Don’t waste your time, spend more money and get a sales book on providing services.

Excellent, right to the point but also helps you think differently
This book is direct, concise and very well written. Doesn't give you a magic solution but makes you think about your own sales process and helps you see things from your client's perspective. The chapter about discovery was definitely my favourite. Totally recommend if you are new to the MSP world or if your sales process is not working.

Volumetto niente male
Sintetico. Concreto. Senza giri di parole. Arriva al punto molto velocemente. L’autore cita libri che chi bazzica tra vendite e marketing dovrebbe aver già letto come Gap Selling, Story Brand, e altri autori. Niente male. Si legge velocemente.

Read this to sell more cyber security services
I always thought selling cyber security services was a bit like house insurance...the prospect is not interested until they have a fire.I was wrong. After reading this book, it has given me a fresh perspective and what is achievable with a little work.I've seen Jennifer's name pop up many times on my radar. This book opened my eyes to the mistakes I've made in my sales process, and I am sure many other sales professionals need to be reminded of.The book itself is a quick read and digestible. All too often, I buy a business book and never finish it.Jennifer's book is not filled with fluff - it tackles the most critical parts of the sales process and relates them specifically to cyber security.A+
