AsaniPortable Mini Blender for Shakes and Smoothies, USB Rechargeable, Pink

As of writing this review, I am approaching the end of the return window. I've used this blender maybe 7 to 10 times and so far so good.I searched for a while for a portable blender with good reviews and this was the only one that had the least amount of bad reviews. One big issue from the start is the charging port is directly underneath the power button with no rubber plug to keep from getting anything in it. . Also it's plastic, not glass so be careful if you care about scratches on the inside or out.I have not disconnected the base yet bc reviews from other blenders that also use a magnetic security connection, people have said it will not start bc it's indicating its not properly connected. I don't want to come across that problem so I just haven't disconnected it yet. Therefore I have to wash it carefully. So without disconnecting from the base, I hold it on its side with the port facing up and cover with my thumb as I fill it up from the faucet, cover the opening with my other hand and shake to rinse the majority out. Then add soap and water again, screw the cap on and blend. Yes uses more battery but I've only scrubbed a couple times so far. I wish it could hold more liquid though.Something worth mentioning, I see on the reviews for these small personal blenders people complaining that it doesn't do well with ice cubes. Has nobody thought to just make smaller ice cubes? These are not full sized countertop blenders, therefore they can't take full sized ice cubes. I've been filling my ice cube tray just under half full and the blender has no problem at all.Anyway, if anything changes with it I'll make sure to updateOtherwise so far so good.

Time will tell how the battery holds up but so far so good. It unscrews in two places so you can clean it easily, I haven't even had to use the special cleaning sponge thing that came with it because there isn't really any places for gunk to hide when I Unscrew both ends. Also, they bragged about it being safe so I tried to trick the safety sensor into turning the blade on when the cylinder wasn't screwed in and was surprised it still wouldn't turn on unless it was firmly screwed in place, so I guess I won't be able to use it as a weapon in an emergency but whatever. Oh...and I also was fully planning to send this thing back if it wasn't strong enough to crush ice but it pulverizes ice! So I will be keeping this. If the battery goes kaput I'm gonna update this review to reflect when the battery life disintegrates but for now this is a cool little gadget to have in your back pack or in your car. It has a usb-c connection, the same as my Samsung phone so I can charge it with the same cable!

Love the ease of using this as a single serve blender, just line up the liens and double press and it works. It is super easy to clean. Due to it being a rechargeable blender, the power is a little on the weaker side, so if it’s stuffed too full, it will stop and you’ll need to add more water or remove items. This can become frustrating if you’re in a hurry, but I’ve learned to manage how much should go in to make easy smoothies for my two boys.
