I am an absolute fan of this knife set, it looks incredibly beautiful and high quality. The knives are super sharp, cut excellently and are very comfortable to hold. They are not too heavy and not too light, just right for a pleasant cutting experience. You also get a knife sharpener, so there's no need to worry about the knives getting too dull and having to get one separately. They are easy to clean and I didn't saw any rust on them. I am very happy with my purchase and I am sure that this set will last a long time. I will have a lot of fun with it, I hope you will too.

Sharper than Joan Rivers ! These knives are great quality, excellent value for money and extreeeeemely sharp ! The only problem encountered was the purchase process with Amazons age verification playing up. After 3 attempts with 3 different customer service representatives we finaly got through the process and managed to place our order. One has to sympathise with the shops selling the knives on here as they must be losing sales left right and centre due to the glitch with Amazon.

I originally bought a different 15pc set at a similar price but returned it because the handles weren't that comfortable to grip... and then settled upon this D.Perlla set instead. I wasn't sure whether the contoured handles would feel nice in the hand or not, but I'm glad I decided to try as I find them lovely to hold and the wood effect (not real wood) doesn't feel cheap or plasticy. All the knives are finished really well and feel like a more expensive set. They are reasonably weighty in the hand (you feel where your money went) without being too heavy and cumbersome. The blades came reasonably sharp - not the sharpest I've ever seen, it has to be said, but they'll suffice and with a sharpening steel on hand, they should be easy to touch up when necessary. The only weakness, as someone else mentioned and I've read in reviews of most similar sets, is the scissors, which are a little loose and feel cheaper than the rest of the set... but I won't knock a star off as I view that more of a bonus item. The block came in good condition - no nicks or scratches - and feels solid and sturdy. Overall, this is a quality set of knives with decent grade stainless on a par with sets 2 or 3 times the price. I doubt you'll find better for under £100. Very happy.

My only concern is that the knife slot edges in the block will look worse for wear over time as the knives are returned to the block. A tough or metal shield around the slots would offer a more long term protection of the slot edges. But the knives are well made and look beautiful. How they hold up over time. Only time and use will tell.

I have been looking for a knife set for a couple months now as I wanted to make sure I got some durable knives that aren’t going to rust or go blunt within a couple of uses like I have seen happen on other product reviews. I have been hand washing these rather than dishwashing as I would like for them to be longer lasting than if they were to be in there after every use, so I can’t comment on the dishwasher friendly side of things. When unboxing my partner had a feel to see how sharp they are and actually cut his finger, they glide through meat and vegetables no problem (and fingers) and I have really enjoyed food preparation and cooking since having them as our old knives were terrible. They are a really nice weight, they don’t feel cheap and flimsy and overall the quality is far superior than a lot of chef/celebrity knives I have used. I definitely have to say these are my favourite set so far in terms of ease of cutting & overall design/feel. They are a perfect addition to a minimalist kitchen with the compact block keeping everything in place which also hasn’t been compromised on quality and feels solid. The only complaint I have about this product is the scissors, compared to the knives and the block they feel cheap and aren’t up to the same standard at all, so hopefully this is something the seller could improve on in the future and make them the same quality/material as the knives. Overall, you won’t be disappointed with this set, especially if you’re looking for a mid range set that isn’t going to cost an arm and a leg for very similar quality to those in the hundreds. Edited to add- I have also purchased another block for a friends housewarming gift as they complimented how great these knives were, I’ve been using mine for a year and a half and they’re still very sharp and the handles are still great. I only hand wash these knives.

Knives are sharp, the set is a nice weight and looks good in the block. Kitchen shears matches the set, as you can see in the photos. I won't be putting these into the dishwasher to prolong the life of the blades. My friend commented on them and asked me to forward a link as she was impressed by the quality for the cost. This set of knives has everything needed for a regular home chef. I'm going to check to see if they have a meat cleaver to match. Overall I'm very happy with them. Can't think of any poor points. Hopefully the blades don't rust over time as I only have them a few weeks.

Messen zijn scherp en een plus zijn de bijpassende steakmessen. Alleen jammer dat de kniptang niet volledig past in blok. Verder was het messenblok goed verpakt en extra bescherming op de mespuntje. Goed product voor een goede prijs.

Köpte denna set och självklart fick vasa de själv till eget tycke. Köpte Utoplike Knivblock bambu kökskniv låda organisatör tillsammans för att ha de i lådan. Rekommenderas

Set très sympa, belle finitions, le bois est de bon qualité, les lames très bien affûtée, voir la pureté de l'acier avec le temps. Très complets, plus 6 petits couteaux de tables pour les viandes... Bien pensé, pour un prix abordable... Livré 1 journée d'avance, le livreur a réussi de le mettre dans ma boîte au lettre en forçant grave... Mais à assuré..

Cortan de maravilla. Los seco siempre después de cada uso y cuanto noto que se desafila alguno uso un afilador y como nuevos. Estoy encantado.
